Hello again, just posting in this thread again to say after putting off this project for 2 and a half years I returned to it with more knowledge on creating CC and have found a solution. I used TSRW to duplicate the main mesh group of a default toddler bed then assigned it a new material within TSRW, exported as a package and proceeded as usual in S4S.
Sorry for necro-posting just wanted to share my (very late) solution.

Hello, First of all I love your work and appreciate everything that goes into it. Secondly I would like to make some recolors of this mattress but before I start I'd like to be 100% certain I'm understanding the terms of use correctly. Do I need to do a selective clone in S4S or can I make a stand alone recolor? Thank you in advance. -MonoChaos

Um I know This is kinda of an old thread but which of these would I use for a child mesh? I only see adult female, adult male and toddler.

Hello.
Sorry to be a bother I really don't want to sound impatient but the "DOT ICONS HIDER" option of the wrench hider mod is still causing gallery UI glitches. Will it be updated to fix this? If you need screenshots of the gallery UI glitching I can get some.
Thank you for all your hard work on this and your other mods. I hope to see more great mods from you in the future.

I'm not sure how to go about "bumping" a thread in a polite, well mannered way so um bump?
Also I do have a tumblr, twitter and MTS so if anyone knows of someone I could contact on any of those for help that's a possibility.
Thank you for your time. -MonoChaos

Hello, I exported a thumbnail from a pose pack I have in my mods folder and the size it exported as is 64px x 64px so I'd suggest trying that size.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply Menaceman44. Unfortunately I still haven't figured this out and any help is still appreciated. Does anyone know someone with experience converting doubles beds to toddler or single that could be tagged? I know the FAQ post says not to tag people but I'm stuck and don't want to abandon my project.
Thank you for your time. -MonoChaos

Looks like you have the texture you want on the hat mapped in the face's section of the CAS UV map. Check out this thread for a explanation of the CAS UVmap regions: sims4studio.com/thread/62/fix-uv-map-templateHope this helps.

Hello, I've been working on converting EA single beds to toddler beds and decided to try doing a double bed. Everything went "fine" in S4S but when I opened my game and looked at the bed it wasn't right. This is what it looked like in S4S (not finished obviously needed to fix clipping)
and this is what it looks like in game: I cloned the Outdoor Retreat, Rustic Sleeper and changed the object tuning, the bone references, the rig, the footprint, and the slot to all be the same as the toddler bed I had been cloning for the single bed conversions. I couldn't clone the same toddler bed for this one because I needed two diffuse maps rather than one. Here are my package and blend files: linkIt is in no way done. I need to fix the clipping and re-categorize it as a toddler bed. Oh and the mattress is the mattress from the Short and Stout Bed by Kindermade toddler bed. I appended it into the blend file and edited the UV mapping to use the texture of the double bed. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. -MonoChaos

Thank you radykiel that worked! I hadn't ticked off the Cutout Info box when I made my selective clone. I made a temporary new selective clone to generate a Cutout Info resource and copied it into the package via s4pe then just changed the ModelID in the Cutout Info resource and POOF! it works! Thank you so much! Now I just need to do that for each of the objects in the set. :D

Was this ever solved? I'm having the same issue with my game generated thumbnails. I've been using custom thumbnails as a work around made from renders from inside blender but I'd really rather use the game generated thumbnails.
EDIT: I thought I should add that I did check for stray verts in my mesh and there are none. I could attach one of my blend files if that would help. (it's a big project with a bunch of items and they all generate the thumbnails off center)

Um Hi, I'm MonoChaos and I just realized this thread existed. I've been creating Sims cc since 2005 starting with The Sims 2. I don't have as much experience with creating for the sims 3 since I did most of my customization from CAST. I've been creating cc for the sims 4 since I first got the game in February 2016. Only been releasing the Sims 4 cc since December 2017 though. You may have seen me around in several sims oriented discord servers. I often pluralize myself while talking and it slips into text chat too. Oh! There is a link to my blog where I post my cc on my user page. (or there should be at least)
I think that's all... nope one last thing I'm a crazy cat person that sadly has no cat(s) at the moment. Okay that's all.
Happy Simming and have a great day!
