I'm experiencing a rather odd issue with S4S at the moment. For some reason S4S (3.1.2.4) all of a sudden stopped importing my edited meshes back into my S4S project. I click on 'import mesh' and it takes a moment to load but the mesh does not change into the new mesh I just tried to import. I made sure I have the right amount of sub meshes (s4studio_mesh_2, etc) and the corresponding cut numbers. It does not trigger an error message. I did not update Windows.
It also regards exporting meshes out of S4S, when trying to open the newly exported BLEND file I only get to see the start up screen (cube). To make sure it isn't an isolated incident I tried a recent finished project and tried to load a LOD1 mesh in into LOD0 to make sure it isn't related to this specific package / blend file. it also did not load even though it should because the sub meshes and cut numbers match.
- I've re-installed S4S but it hasn't resolved the issue.
- I've also re-installed Blender 2.70 (need this version for proper weight transfers).
I've included a
dropbox link containing the blend file and package file and a log file from S4S hoping that someone can point out where the issue might be. I looked at the log myself and the following line stood out to me but then again... i'm not that technical, so I have no clue.
I'm using a virtual machine (parallels) to run Windows on my Mac simultaneously, both systems are properly separated. Windows has it's own partition. I do open my package files from my creators directory on Mac which has never been an issue before.
But to make sure it isn't the cause; i've moved the folder containing the package file etc to the desktop of Windows and tried opening it there and I finally got a Error Message.

I'm not sure if this is due to the root issue of my ask or if this is triggered by the multiple (re)-installs of Blender and S4S but hopefully this gives someone a clue!
