Yes, I've deleted the previous uv_1 before the transfer. I tried it again with the body and my mesh together and it makes it worse. The front is better but now there's very bad clipping at the sides and at the shoulders. Pictures: imgur.com/a/VqIJpCould you send me your blender file so I could compare mine and yours?

I'm still having the same issue after following your tutorial. Here's what I'm doing:
1.) Splitting up the Sims' body and my mesh in Blender 2.70. 2.) Appending my reference mesh and subdividing it. 3.) Saving, then opening it in Blender 2.78. 4.) Using the Data Transfer modifier and selecting my reference mesh as the source object, then selecting "Face Corner Data" and then "Best Corner and Best Matching Face" 5.) Then selecting "UVs" and selecting uv_1 in "All Layers" and "By Name", then clicking "Apply".
It comes out looking the same as it did before the transfer.

I think my cut numbers are wrong. if a mesh has multiple cut numbers do you just duplicate your mesh that you created and change the cut number? or no? No, you have to split your mesh up similarly to how your reference mesh is split up into its cut groups. Eliavah demonstrates how to do cut numbers in this video (at 21:03): link

How did you make the uv_1 map? It seems it wasn't properly transferred. Please share the blender file and package file so someone can take a look. I did data transfer between the reference mesh and my mesh for the UV_1. Then I joined the body and my mesh. Blender file: linkPackage: link

I made a top is MD but I'm having trouble trying to fix the clipping issues at the bottom of the shirt. When I make the sim bigger all of it just pops out the shirt near the bottom edge. Is there another way to fix this other than what I am doing? (Which is moving sims' body's faces and the top's faces). I don't want to move the shirt's faces out anymore cause it starts to look lumpy. Picture: imgur.com/a/1X1PA

How are you importing it into Blender? The way I do it is I open a nude female top then import the mesh obj top.

novasim . Without seeing .blend it's difficult to say. In this case it looks more like a uv_1 issue. I think you decimated your mesh too much, so when you did uv_1 data transfer, it transferred incorrectly (approximately). I suggest checking these tutorial by SLYD, one is about smooth weight transfer, this technique can be used for uv_1 transfer, and this one is about correcting weights. I didn't decimate it at all. I followed the tutorial and it made the cropped part rougher. Maybe it's the reference mesh I'm using that I'm transferring the weights from? I transfered it from a long sleeved shirt. Here's my .blend

I made a cropped turtleneck in MD. In game when I enlarge or make the breasts saggier the cropped part becomes pointed and distorts. How can I fix this? I just want the cropped part to stay where it is. Top picture is normal, rest are distorted Pictures: imgur.com/a/iURE9

Imported my mesh from MD to Blender and noticed where all the seams were aren't connected when put in Blender. They all have a transparent gap. How can I fix this? imgur.com/a/KeV5A

I transferred weights from an EA shirt to my mesh and the EA body (because I connected the EA body and mesh together for the uv_0). So should I go into blender, delete the EA nude body top from my mesh, and only transfer weights to my shirt mesh? And then append the nude EA top back onto my mesh? Yes, you can do this way in future meshes. But now in your case you can append nude EA top to your mesh and skip weight transfer since you already did this step. You don't need to fix entire mesh, just that tiny part on the bottom of the belly. Delete that part from your mesh, append EA's mesh, delete unnecessary parts and connect both meshes. It's fixed now! Thanks so much for your help. I'll keep this in mind for future meshes.

You get this kind of gap when you transfer weights from EA's mesh to yours. I assume you cloned EA's nude top, connected bottom part of it with MD mesh, transferred weights. Right? Blender transfers weights approximately, but you can see flaws only on weights, ankles and neck. I suggest cloning ea's nude top, deleting everything except bottom part of the top (the same area that you used in your top) and connecting with your custom mesh in your .blend. EA's item has perfect weights in that problem area where you got a tiny gap. Also, I didn't connect the bottom part of the EA nude top to my mesh. I just opened a nude top in blender, imported my mesh, appended them together for uv_0. I kept them together for weight transfer too. So I transferred the weights of the EA shirt to the EA nude body top.

I made my mesh in MD, put it through Blender and all that stuff, it works good in game but there is a small transparent gap on the waistline when my mesh is paired with some pants. I figured I could move the edges down a bit but it's kind of noticeable in game. I was wondering what was causing this and if there is a more effective way of fixing it? imgur.com/a/YTtKc

I feel really dumb lol. The problem was script mods were disabled. I must've forgotten to enable them after I reinstalled my game a week ago. Thanks for being so willing to help, andrew!

The updated mod isn't working for me :( I click on the statue and then when I click "Summon a sim" or teleport nothing happens, no menu shows up to choose a sim to teleport.
