Vest with shirt, tie and rolled sleevesHiya again! This mesh is a modification of my first mesh, just adding the rolled sleeves. Initially, it was my first project, but I had to break it down into two projects, meaning that is a combination of 3 meshes: the vest mesh, shirt and tie mesh and the shirt with rolled sleeves mesh. I included 8 textures this time, so hopefully it won't be as limited as my last one on that department. ► Standalone item with a new mesh ► Clothing Top ► Compatible with Basegame ► Available for male teens, young adults, adults and elders ► You can find it under clothing/ Tops . It's on everyday, formal and party categories. ► Not enabled for randoms ► Highest level poly count: 3451 Credits: ► To the entire Sims 4 Studio Staff for doing this wonderful tool and their tutorials, without them I wouldn't able to complete it. ► untraditionalnerd for his awesome frankenmeshing tutorial, and orangemittens for her advice about lods. ► EA for making the original three meshes and textures I combined. #shirt #vest #shirtandvest #rolled #Top #everyday #formal #male #clothing #metalfenix

I´m a bit late anidup, but thanks for your kind post. I have very little time at the time being but I hope it will get better soon and that the tools will be developped to allow for converting my food dishes by then. I´d also like to welcome all the newbies: Nikolai ( eirflower), lalunarossa, Rafael (loved your stuff over at MTS Metalfenix_Raf), @lizatekna and Jessica ( akijinchan). I hope you´ll all be having a blast at creating cool stuff. thanks bienchen, I'm glad you like my stuff at MTS. I'm a newbie, but this tool is so well developed, that even I managed to do my first frankenmeshing project

Thanks for this tutorial orangemittens, with it finally I could separate the leatherbiker full body outfit into a top and a bottom. I dunno if I should upload it though, maybe someone already did something like this before.

4 Additional textures for my Vest with shirt and tie mesh Hi everyone! as promised, here are 4 additional textures to go along my Vest with shirt and tie mesh. Please note that you must download and install my mesh first (wich is the first download in this section) in order to use theses textures. They will appear with the original texture. Recolors of these textures are welcome, but don't override the originals, and credit me at least. I hope you like them. Credits: ► To the entire Sims 4 Studio Staff for doing this wonderful tool and their tutorials, without them I wouldn't able to complete it. ► orangemittens for her awesome recolor tutorial ► EA for making the textures I combined to get these. #shirt #vest #shirtandvest #recolors #Top #everyday #formal #male #clothing #metalfenix

jedibre78, no it doesn't. Metalfenix_Raf, you can't have both installed but you can keep Joy installed and run Sugar out of a folder if you want. To do that just download the .zip version of Studio (Sugar), extract the contents to a folder, and double click the S4Studio.exe inside it. Thanks! I'll be doing that right away. I'm planning to do another frankenmeshing project, combining my first vest mesh with the EA's rolled sleeve shirt, and I figured that would be a good time to test sugar, so here I go.

I'm about to start a new project soon, and I think is a good time to test the sugar beta. I don't want to replace the Joy version I currently have. Can it be installed and used while having the Joy version installed?

Vest with shirt and Tie Outfit for males This is my very first Creation on Sims 4 Studio, and my first mesh on Sims 4 as well. Is quite something I wanted to do since this game launched, but I only was able to do it when I discovered S4S. It's a combination of two EA meshes, the one with a vest, and the shirt and tie one. At this time, there is only one texture available, after all the work on the mesh I didn't wanted to do another textures, but I'm planning to do additional textures soon. ► Standalone item with a new mesh ► Clothing Top ► Compatible with Basegame ► Available for male teens, young adults, adults and elders ► You can find it under clothing/ Tops . It's on everyday, formal and party categories. ► Not enabled for randoms ► Highest level poly count: 3403 Credits: ► To the entire Sims 4 Studio Staff for doing this wonderful tool and their tutorials, without them I wouldn't able to complete it. ► untraditionalnerd for his awesome frankenmeshing tutorial, and orangemittens for her advice about lods. ► EA for making the original two meshes I combined. #shirt #vest #shirtandvest #Top #everyday #formal #male #clothing #metalfenix

Sorry for double posting. It's just to announce that I finally managed to get rid of the white spots while zooming out. It seems that the culprit is the RLES files, it seems that the ones I made didn't work, and I used the ones of the original vest (wich I thought it wouldn't work) and now the outfit looks good while zooming out. I'll be testing tonight and publish here the final version. I'm so happy now

Holy mackerel, I did realized that I skipped completely the UvMap1 step, the Uvmap1 on my lod0 mesh is a mess. Should I try to fix it? and since I'm asking about uvmap1, what texture does uvmap1 use? I'm sure that is not the texture one, that's for sure.
EDIT: nevermind, I found the uv_1 tutorial on this section, using the body txture, I see that some map sectors are falling into white parts of the body texture, maybe that's causing the strange white spots on my mesh while zooming out? I'll modify it and see.

If you post the .package I can take a look I was just preparing the .package in onedrive for posting on creator studios 2 hours ago... well, that was just before I noticed those errors. here ya go. You can test it ingame if you like. EDIT: Removed the link, the mesh was fixed one day after I posted this.

Check your item in the game after you add each LOD. Make sure to check the lowest LODs by zooming out before bothering with them. Your project looks great so far and I hope you stick with it When you say your lower LODs are showing seams could you show a pic of that...I'm not sure what you mean. I'm referring to the strange white patches I mark in the picture. Notice how Lod0 is good, but as I zoom out, the white patches are noticeable, specially with the gray shirt.

Well, I had to restart the project one more time, to put effort on joining both meshes (on my first try, there were seams difficult to correct), doing a less complicated UvMap, understanding the texture, bumpmap and RLES files, and doing the LOD files using the decimating option. orangemitten, I decided to go with the decimating route, decimating each mesh starting with Lod0, decimating it to get Lod1, repeating it to get Lod2 and again for Lod3. So far so good, I'll test the outfit ingame today, and If all goes well, I'll have my very first creator studio here Thanks goes to untraditionalnerd for this tutorial, orangemittens for her advice and multiple tutorials (I found your decimating tutorial here, among others) and everyone here in Sims 4 Studio, without your help, this outfilt would exist only in my head. EDIT: tested in-game, and the LOD1,2 and 3 show seams (fortunately LOD0 looks so good as the pic). I'm not happy with the result, so... maybe I'll start making each LOD mesh as I did the 0 one (a total pain...but I won't stop being so close to the goal). I thought about leaving the mesh of the old Maxis vest, but looks weird with the texture. But I'm not gonna give up this project.

Oh, I forgot to post here. Greetings, my name is Rafael and I'm new making CC for TS4 (I've done a couple of recolors though). Right now I'm on the middle of a franken meshing project with a male clothing top.
Thanks for making wonderful tools like Sims4Studio, you guys are awesome.
