Hi folks! it's been years since I've did my last meshing project.
I'm creating a franken mesh project, basically is the base game leather jacket without the shirt (bare chest, so to say). Everything went fine, I have the project done. But it dawned to me I can actually do a couple of recolors of that. Basically adding a white t-shirt texture. I know, you sure are wondering why I'm adding back a t-shirt when the original had one and I took it off. truth is I hate it, and wanted to have it under the belt, not loose over it.
Right now, it looks like this:
You can see the belt on the shirt texture, but I want the shirt texture UNDER the belt, kinda like this base game outfit.
But I have no clue where to even start. Is it a mesh issue? (right now, the mesh is a clone of the nude superior part) or is a specular/normal file issue? I know I could try and shorten the texture, but I want it to fit normal pants and low pants...basically any pants I put with it.

thank you mv ! I'll do the same soon. Now I have to upload my creations here to sims file share and update the download links here, it seems the old onedrive links I had expired somehow. I wanted to do this for a while, it's a site that most simmers like.

Just a heads up: Maxis has just released a patch, and it fixed the CC swatches on my end, at least on some CC beards and eyes I had.

It seems to be happening to many simmers. My mom have this issue, most of her CC hairstyles, eyebrows and eye colors does not change colors. I don't have many CC of this type on my game, so I can't offer more info.
EDIT: After some testing, some of my CC eyecolors don't work. from what I saw, they use custom swatches. I dunno if this could help.

Metalfenix_Raf, yes that is the right one. The new option works for beds, sofas, and loveseats. The previous version of Studio only fixed beds, so the batch fix had a different name. Thanks! I'm gonna try it right away

where is the batch fix? and how do you use it? Sorry im new, trying to fix beds. Tools >> Batch Fixes >> Objects >> Fix bedding for D + C stuff! I can't find it on wishes 3.1.0.4, is by any chance the option: "Fix Objects for cats & dogs patch"? I'm looking for the fix for beds.

Metalfenix_Raf _Raf and awfularchdemon , when importing a .blend back to Studio the names of the mesh groups have no significance at all. The only thing Studio uses to decide which mesh group to replace with what is the cut number. You can name your mesh group whatever is convenient for you but you need to be sure the cut number matches the cut number of the EA mesh group you want it to replace. Good to know, I thought one had to name the mesh groups exactly just like the cut numbers of the original mesh.

I'm curious, what is the use of this bonefixer cheat? I have seam issues too on a mesh I'm still working on and I'm not happy with it at all.

Hello, I have a problem. First, sorry if my English is bad. In the first steps, by clicking "studio_mesh_2", when I try to append lod mesh, this come up: (I can't append (nudebottom)lod blender file.. why?) before select lod.blend: after lod.blend selected: After you select the .blend, search under Object, and select the mesh you want to append.

awfularchdemon I tested your .package and .blender . In the .blender I noticed a mistake, one of your meshes is named s4studio_mesh_1.001 , and it should be renamed to s4studio_mesh_2 before importing it back to sims 4 studio. When you import back to s4studio your .blender needs to have exactly the same mesh names and geoms names as the original. In your case, the edited mesh had to be renamed to s4studio_mesh_2, wich is the name that the original mesh use. . I imported it back, and it overrided the old one, it shows like this on my game: And here is the.package and .blender I modified. I put them on a .rar 1drv.ms/1XgRvLK

I agree, I don't need a good director for porn , as long as they don't mess up the "action"
