Thank you Bakie! I didn't realize there was a creator studio bit somewhere else in the forum, so I'll repost it there, but I think I'll update the packages first so they are disabled for random, I hadn't realized how weird it was for townies to wear random bits of African clothing!

I forgot to say Ghost00 - whilst I do want you to have fun and express yourself, don't do anything you are not comfortable doing, in life or on Internet. If someone is making you feel weird with their comments, I'd recommend you ask someone you trust (your parent, older sibling, teacher etc) to have a look at what they're said/done. Sims4studio is pretty safe but by all means if anyone bothers you, please let the moderators know. And just in case anyone tells you the opposite, telling someone that you're being bullied/abused is ALWAYS the mature thing to do, it doesn't make you a baby, complainer, sissy or anything like that. ;-| If the person you tell can't or won't help you, tell someone else, until someone does something. On to nicer things! I read in your introduction that you are interested in creating something for Sims 4. What would you like to make? I'm sure you're very talented, all shy people are! Do you need any help?

Oh my dear Ghost00 nothing to be embarrassed about... I've always been supershy, and though for the most of it, I have it under control, I still have social anxiety sometimes, especially if I'm not feeling well and I "have" to go out, and feel that people will judge me for being... well anything really, too young, too old, overweight, underweight, not dressed nicely, overdressed... There are many things that help with that sort of thing, but one of them that works for me is to ask myself, does the person judging me (or that I think might judge me) mean anything to me? Like, it's kind of normal for people to want their parents, siblings, best friends to think well of you, but do you really need the cashier lady to approve of whether you had time to put makeup on? (haha, yes I have had to ask silly questions like that). Well, it's not silly, it's just a bad habit, that of being so negative, but luckily, bad habits can be broken. It takes time, willpower, and yes, if you have some nice people around you who remind you of what really counts, and who you really are, that helps a ton too. I totally know how it is to be a shy kid - I was one for a long time, and still am now, in my 30s. But it's okay, in some ways, I wouldn't change it, you know why? 1. When you learn to overcome it, you can help lovely people who are going through the same thing and just need a break. 2. In part because you are afraid to speak, you learn to listen. And to know how to be a good listener, oh sweet thing, that's a priceless talent. How many teachers do you know, that know how to listen? How many parents know how to listen to their kids? How many doctors listen to their patients? Being quiet and listening is even a greater teacher than being an avid reader. So, yes, I am so happy that you yourself know it's getting better because it is. And if you have "setbacks" once in a while, that's fine too - it's just a reminder to keep good healthy habits (only say and think nice things about yourself, be positive, not be afraid of "failure", doing what you love doing vs. what people think you should be doing). Write me anytime you want. Count me in on your friend experience. *hugs*

Can I.... like.... say something on this thread.... or...? I don't even know... sometimes I think I bother people way too much ^^ Ghost00 prego! What's on your mind? Say anything! You're not bothering anyone! If they are not interested in what you talk about, if they have any manners, they'll just not bother to answer. And that's not always a bad thing! Anyway, I'm listening. You have my attention. You can also private message me if you want - if it helps any, I'm shy too but I kind of learnt to overcome it most of the time. Have a lovely evening!

The lady of the house redecorated said house. Or spaceship. Please excuse the alien in human disguise in the kitchen - Simseer decided to make him her woohoo slave buddy with benefits so he kind of hangs around a lot in the hopes of free dinner after service. The lighting changed from picture to picture, not sure why so abruptly, there's no Photoshop editing involved. By the way, as you can see in the next screenshot, Simseer did have to suffer the consequences of being selfish - her initial idea was to get him pregnant and let him deal with the whole weight/discomfort/childbirth/breastfeeding caboodle, but the plan backfired and now her back hurts. Oh boohoo, stupid lady, my heart is bleeding for you! That'll teach you to woohoo irresponsibly! Anyway, I meant to show the bedroom. As if she cares what I think. But hey, she has a turquoise rubber ducky. I wouldn't care what anyone thinks if I had one of those. Or one of these. Since she is my first alien Sim I did wonder if she could get pregnant by fish, since she woohooed in her stagnant pool. You can't see fish in this shot, but they are there alright. You will be pleased to know the baby albeit quite blue once liberated from solitary coconfinement the womb did not have any tail (of any kind). The consensus is that it is female by default as it is not yet capacitated to undergo interrogation with regards to gender identity (I did ask but the answer was indecipherable). More pics to come!

Guilty. Oh boy. I knew this would come up one day. I think it was on an 8th grade 3 day camping trip to Cazorla (Spain), when I got lost very, very deep in the mountains (we had already been walking all day). After walking around with no signs of human life for several hours I seriously considered writing a letter to my mother that someone would find on my dead body in a few weeks' (or months') time. Here comes that gorgeous lightbulb moment - you know how I found civilization again? I followed goat poop. Because where there are goats, there are goatherds, and where there are goatherds, at some point there will be a road. Phew. I made it. And without drinking my own pee (unleash cheerleaders now). Now I did consider not posting that. But again, it could save someone's life right? So if you are ever lost in the mountains and have no better ideas, try looking for some dark chocolate pebbles and following them. Next person: have you ever blamed a pet for something you did? (Get out of hiding, you ninja farters! )

J Mzungu Oh wow, I just read your post about your dog Bamse. I am sorry you feel he had such a tough life and that you couldn't do more for him. But I also think that he knew you loved him and it made his life worth living. It takes a big heart to love an animal that has psychological damage. He reminds me a little of one of my present dogs Cloppy - he was abandoned several times, was very sick as a puppy (almost died and was in intensive care) - he is both very loving and a nervous wreck. The first years, he destroyed everything in sight (thankfully nothing alive except maybe a few poor plants) - the furniture, books, electrical plugs, clothes, his own bed, he even made a complete hole in the wall from scratching and biting (I could stick my arm through the hallway wall and reach the bathroom through the hole he made). I guess with his medical bills and his destructiveness some people would have given up, but of course I have no regrets that we believed in him. He is not destructive at all now, is so brave and noble-hearted, although he's a terrible barker. I love all animal lovers without exception, but I have great respect in particular for those who take care of pets with health problems, whether physical or mental, to the best of their ability, even if they are not "prepared", wealthy, knowledgeable. J Mzungu you did the best you could for Bamse, and I'm so happy you were in his life. It's my personal belief that selfless love is never misplaced, and that animals and people do come back (I suscribe to Einstein's " Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another") so you never know, maybe you can recognize those happy crazy eyes in another pet you have one day :-*. Sorry for such a long post! Animals really tickle my feelings. And almost forgot - I searched for the ugly kid you mentioned and couldn't find her. I only saw a lovely little girl with a big heart and shy eyes.

simtress I'm so sorry about your dog... What was his name and how old was he? Although on the one hand it's sad that LittleGuy missed him so much, on the other it must have been nice to see them get along with each other. I have two dogs, and adopted a slightly crazy stray cat nursing her kittens and I have kept them separate up to now (first for health reasons, since the cats could have brought something in, and so as not to stress the kitties out) but I'm going to have to properly introduce them soon (gulp - hope it goes well, the dogs go nuts when they hear me/see me interacting with the cats). Likewise sweetsorrowsims I am so sorry about your cat. I've got my "fix" for dogs and cats for the moment but I do miss my bunnies. Bakie 's post made me remember this one, wait for this original name now, called Bunny . He's no longer with me, but I do believe that he is either in Bunny Heaven or has reincarnated into one of my present pets. But to honour his memory as he was once, here are some old pics of my boy. Anyway *wiping tear away* Love is Love and lasts forever, even if they aren't here physically! Some other day I'll post pics of my other pets!

I plan on editing the prices of all the mattresses and frames I find to create a more uniform system. If anyone is interested, I can create a 'price guide' here based on where I end up, and I can even add a (extremely simple) tutorial on how to edit the prices for those of you so inclined. I will not post other peoples CC that I've edited (I don't know for sure whether it's against the rules or not, but I totally understand why it would be, so I'm just not gonna), so you'll have to do it yourself, but if people are interested in my pricing system (when I finish it), I'll happily post it. - Update Nov 9, 2015 (3:00 AM) - For my sanity, I'm going to post little updates while I work on this project, and then continue to post updates in the future when new content is updated/released. For now, I'm semi-regretting taking on this project, but that'll fade when I'm done and especially when I see signs that my list helped someone. Still, it's so time-consuming... I only just realized that I should totally have made a section for single/double mattress/frame sets that match, which will save me a little bit of sanity. Still, I'm kinda annoyed that it took me this long to realize that...
- Addendum (3:42 AM) - I'd really love to find some mattresses that aren't at full stats. It's kind of disappointing to see such a lack of progression. Not every Sim should be sleeping on super-comfy beds. If I don't find anyone, I've got internet cookies for anyone who can find some or maybe set-up some generic ones with various levels of comfort tuning that could be applied to other mattresses fairly easily (preferably with a little tutorial showing the best way to do it). If someone sets up the latter, I might even see if I can poke some of the content creators for permission to create and post merged packages of their bedding with varied levels of tuning (I'm not promising anything there).
- Addendum (4:32 AM) - Y'all are prolific... I didn't think there would be so many... I'm about to /ragequit this list. Not really, I'm chill, I'm just a little tired and I need to vent a little to keep from flailing at my screen. Particularly since while I'm looking for bed stuff, I keep stumbling into other interesting CC and it's like TVTropes, just falling ass over elbows into rabbit holes of CC. Also, it's highly upsetting to keep finding SG5150's stuff, because it's all so well made and he deleted his Simblr. /sigh
- Addendum (8:47 AM) - Bluh, I cannot ignore sleep any longer (while this was a tiny factor, I wasn't putting off sleep just to do this, I've had a messed up sleep pattern for months now). I will complete this task when I return.
- Addendum (7:05PM) - I've acquired a Tense moodlet from this project. I should get an Inspired/Happy one when I'm done, though.
- Update Nov 12, 2015 (2:53AM) - Okay, this is done for now. If anyone want to suggest anything, go ahead.
- Update Nov 14, 2015 (5:29AM) - Added the frames/bedding from this set.
- Update Nov 25, 2015 (7:57PM) - Added TARDIS bedding by @countrykris . Also went back and tagged S4S members where I could.
- Update Nov 29, 2015 (8:35AM) - Added Bayside bedding and frames by peacemaker , and ethnic bed linens by believe&become . Thanks to believe&become for point them out.
Thank you Finn Quill for that speedy update! I have a question though about the beds for anyone here - kind of embarrassing really because I should know this by now but it's been itching since I re-uploaded the bed recolour I made. That I remember I happily clicked on " Standalone recolor" and thought it included the mesh (I did have permission from Peacemaker to include it), I sincerely doubt that I clicked on selective clone or create 3d mesh because even to this day that unexplored territory still scares me . From reading orangemittens' tutorials and/or notes here and here I think it didn't include the mesh. However in order to "classify" it properly (as mesh included/not included) I decided to test it and removed peacemaker's original mattress file from my Mods folder. And it still worked in the game *scratches head*. To be on the safe side, here in my studio and on tumblr, I've classified it as "needs original mesh". Since it was an extraction from the original game, not an actual new mesh, does that mean it doesn't need a "separate mesh"? Or it does require a mesh but it happens to be cloned in another package I have installed? Sorry to be such a pain, it's driving me obsessive compulsive not to be able to classify my own stuff! I didn't post in the creator help bit because I didn't have any problems creating or using it, and it seems beddings and bedframes are different.

Hello!! I have been playing Sims since the first Sims game came out. I started designing houses based from log and timber home designs for TS3. For TS3 I also designed smaller structures such as pool cabanas, venues, garages, and sheds. For TS4 the community and the amount of talent that I have seen is impressive, many helpful people also. I am hoping that I can bring some of my creations into The Sims 4. I also like to create sims for challenges and special days like holidays. Welcome mythicrider! How lovely that you create so much outdoor stuff, I do feel there is a kind of lack of that in the game (at least TS4), can't wait to see your work! Having said that, hope you enjoy creating stuff in TS4, and no rush with getting familiar with everything! Give us a shout if you need help!

Finn Quill I also think it was a great idea to make this list, thank you. I have some to add: Peacemaker-ic also separated the mattress from the bedframe - here is his Bayside furniture set and here is his Grove furniture set. I recoloured the Bayside mattress here with his permission (I called it the Ethnic Bayside Bedding Volume I since I based it on traditional patterns from different ethnic groups from all over the world) - it's also posted in my creator studio. Thank you as well to annachibi who did all that work - I am a fan of hers too.

This recolour of Peacemaker IC's Bayside Bedding (original mesh here) was made for my first milestone on tumblr, and consists of 24 ethnic themed bed linen sets that can be matched with Peacemaker's Bayside bedframe or any other double bedframe you have. - Patterns: African bold prints, Indonesian batiks, Native American designs, Australian Aboriginal dot art, Celtic ornaments… - Style tool compatible - Price: 800 S - Custom thumbnails
- TOU: please do not claim as your own work or upload anywhere else. Please comply with Peacemaker-IC's TOU if you want to modify/recolour this and also credit me (by name and link back). With many thanks to Peacemaker-IC who kindly allowed me to recolour it, and a special mention for Colleen Nungari, the Aboriginal artist who painted the artwork featured in bed #9 above. Please let me know if you have any issues with this bed! They are high resolution textures (about double EA's original image size) so I am not sure how well they are seen on laptops or if you are running low on memory. Here are some previews. If you want to see the list of cc used in the pics, you can check it out here on the original post. #bed #mattress #bedding #ethnic #african #hindu #indian #aboriginal #asian #ethnic bedding #mattress #native american #believeandbecome #theafricansim

J Mzungu thank you so much! I love making custom content of all ethnic backgrounds though I felt that Africans and people of African descent were still a little under-represented, so it's really been my pleasure to explore my African roots and churn out some nice stuff. Of course one tends to starts off with creating things for themselves and their gameplay, but it's double the joy if someone else also enjoys it. As long as there is a good vibe going on, everyone wins, that's what cool about the modding community. Anyway, I did learn to make tie-dyes, so if I open a real life shop are you investing, haha ? Also, I really love your stuff too! I'll put some in my reblog list, especially the wall art. Your gameplay pics are such fun to look at and put a smile on my face.

Hello fuyaya, thank you for telling me about that topic, I did list myself there too! I'm happy to that you will be making more wax collections, I will defintely reblog that, although really I love all your stuff, you are so talented and I would of course wear your clothes in real life (regarding your last dress I actually have a dress like that!). I shared some African textiles I used/prepared, if you ever want to use any of them they are here.

Both innocent and guilty - (I'm sorry, I'm a Libra, indecisive) - I shall explain: Innocent - the first few seconds (minutes even) I was a mixture of horrified and terrified, I was like what is happening? What shall I do? What can I do? What did I do wrong? Save my children! Guilty - a while later I remembered they weren't real and it was a game. So I was able to go back and snicker at the game pics, but it was quite a while later. And the first time, I still had to revert to save game and pretend it never happened (talk about trauma!).
My question: were you ever/would you be shocked the first time your Sim streaked/streaks?
