Thank you so much for the warm welcome! For the record, I'm mostly white but I was born and raised in West Africa and like to keep that part of my soul on fire. Silly me, I was posting in the Custom Content Links section and thinking it was the Creator Studio, not realizing there was actually a different section. So to answer your questions, yes, definitely, I will be putting up a creator studio once I find my way around here lol! Btw your avatar's tshirt (which is lovely btw) looks like one of the tshirts I made recently for kids ... did we have the same idea? I'm posting a link just to show you, not sure if it's the right place to do that. I just have a sincere love of tie dye. My shirt info: Tshirt (from a set of 3) by FrankVjecy here: www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=548111I haven't got a studio up, I'm JUST learning this cc thing, and so far, if there's been a roadblock to hit, I've found (or engineered) it. I have had a grand total of ONE shirt recolor work properly from the word go (and it was seriously nothing special). I have attempted a somewhat higher number than that. haha!! But I am *not* giving up. Trouble I'm having is totally a "me" thing, you're bilingual, S4S is a little like trying to learn a 2nd language and skill set, since I AM so new to the creation side, and that doesn't happen in a day. Or, in my case, a week. But, it will happen. Lightbulb moments FTW! (I'm still waiting...) (I don't want to scare anybody off, S4S is AWESOME, I'm just having a few "getting to know you" issues.) Pretty sure it's fine to post pictures here. I just took it out for LENGTH, since it's already showing in your post. I didn't want you to think I took it out because you shouldn't have posted it, I mean. (I overexplain sometimes...) Good news on the Studio, I'll be looking forward to seeing what you add to it. Thanks for the reply! Thank you for getting back to me! I know what you mean about not reposting the pic, that's fine of course. I love tie-dye too, and it's pretty standard in West Africa, my school uniform (when I had one) was a batik tie-dye dress and we also all learnt to make that kind of cloth at school, both tie-dye and wax dye. The link to cc you posted is pretty cool - it looks like the same texture although angled different, for adults rather than kids and I have lettering ("Africa is my DNA") on it. It's nice to see the same thing inspires different people, like I mentioned yesterday, it really is a small world! It's my first day posting and I already recognize people and textures. Btw, I'm not an expert by any means but if you need help with S4S recolours feel free to ask me. I only use Photoshop for recolours so I am not that familiar with other programs but I'm happy to try. Maybe I can help you get re-interested in a project that you've been struggling with or abandoned? Nothing like getting an old half finished job out of the way! I finished one yesterday that I had started months ago and I'm still in "ah what a relief mode"!

fuyaya I just noticed your introduction above me and I'm so happy to recognize your name - I blogged about your cc about 2 months ago and wanted to tag you directly but you hadn't a tumblr account yet, I believe. The post I wrote about you (the wax collection you did) is here. Guess it's a small world - it's lovely to be able to write you directly, thank you for your wonderful work and meet "on the same starter's day". believe&become Just wanted to say WOW! Looked at your African cc blog. I'm about as white as people come (not much "ethnic" wardrobe experience), but you've got some AMAZING stuff. I'm really looking forward to seeing the sci-fi blog when you get it rolling. Are you going to have a Creator Studio here? Thanks for sharing! (edit: fix tag) Thank you so much for the warm welcome! Believe & Become's Pet Paintings - Cat series IThis was one of the first custom content "things" I made, very standard and beginner basics - but cute nonetheless. I think at the time I didn't know how to make custom thumbnails properly so that's probably missing. To download it and/or see more about it, here is the original post.

African Fashion Week Volume I. This project was quite big, 96 recolours in total, but I was rather happy with it. There aren't a lot of ethnic fashion options in The Sims 4, and much less African custom content, so I was glad to fill in a little bit of the gap. Credits to ice-creamforbreakfast and EA for the turban/headwrap mesh from TS3. Here is the link to her conversion that was one of the 11 objects I recoloured, the rest are basegame or spa day recolours. And on to my recolours: If you want to know more about this project or download the custom content, you can visit the original post here.

I think these are recolours but they look quite nice, I especially like the white bamboo: Fantasy trees here at TSR, by fonxi121944. Mulena also made some autumn coloured trees here. If you like those colours, Dani Paradise made a whole Autumn plant override that looks really cool here. Here are Ladesire's screaming trees (they remind me of The Lord of the Rings). There are also graveyard trees by Blackyzoo here. And not quite trees, but for alien gardens, these terrain paints by 27sonia27 are useful. Hope this helps.

I'm going to post pics and links to my mixed bag of custom content here - for the moment I make recolours of all kind of things, but especially ethnic "things" (buy items, clothes, build items), vintage/historical stuff but sci-fi / alien themed material and cutesy stuff too (aka puppies and kitties, kids' items). Thank you for passing by!

I volunteer for English/Spanish if needed! I am fully bilingual, I speak and write in Castilian (European) Spanish and British English - but of course American English and Latin American Spanish is also perfectly fine for me too. Bonus points: not that it's in demand, but you can also throw Jamaican Patois my way (though I'm not really fluent it makes me so happy I'll work three times as hard!) Let me know if I can help! ¡Háganme saber si puedo ayudar en algo!

Hello everyone! My name is Gigi and I live/study in Spain in with my husband and pet dogs, cats and birds. The Sims 4 is the first Sims game I've played - vanilla for the first months, then I started using and making my own cc using S4S in June this year. I have two main tumblrs (simblrs really), my first was TheAfricanSim where I share afrocentric custom content I find or make and my second was Simseer Soothsayer which is scifi/alien related. I love interior decorating in Sims 4, making Sims of different ethnic backgrounds and styles, collaborating in the simblr community where I have made a few really good friends and learning to make better custom content. I'm quite happy with my progress recolouring and looking forward to learning to mesh/use Blender. I try to remember to actually play and also make/share screenshots of my gameplay, builds, Sims and custom content work in progress. I would like to thank Sims 4 Studio for both the fun and the professional support, especially orangemittens and brujah whose tutorials got me started on this wild journey in the first place. I speak both English and Spanish fluently, so if anyone needs help translating, I'm game for it, fire away.
