Better share the blender file and package file. It's hard to guess from the pictures.

Maybe try using 2.70 for weight transfer, which was what I used.

It's weird but the black line came with your shadow map. You might want to re-bake it. Also your normal map isn't supposed to look green and red in the RGB channel, which makes the neck slightly darker if you look carefully. The normal map should be entirely grey.

Your uv_1 map is incorrect. Please follow this tutorial of mine to subdivide the reference mesh where you transfer uv_1 map from before hand. This tutorial has more detail on transferring uv_1.

Did you follow the exact steps? It should work if you did. What version of blender are you using?

You can clone the top and head mesh under rig tree as a reference to transfer the weight. Here're the steps: 1. Open rig tree and click the arrow icons for top and head mesh to allow you select them. 2. Select head and press Shift+D to duplicate the mesh. It should create a mesh called 'head.001'. Do the same for the top mesh which creates 'top.001'. 3. Join head.001 and top.001. 4. Select your mesh and delete all vertex groups to ensure a clean transfer. I'm not sure if this step is necessary but I always do this. 5. Transfer weight from the joined mesh of head.001 and top.001 to your mesh by following this tutorial. sims4studio.com/thread/81/weight-transfer-blenderThis should fix it.

I'm not exactly sure if it was your blender file or package file that was broken somehow, or it could be both. Here's how I fixed it. - Clone a new package. I cloned a pair of earrings.
- Export the mesh from the new package.
- Append your mesh 's4studio_mesh_1' from 01.blend in your attachment above.
- Select 's4studio_mesh_1' of the earrings and delete all vertices in edit mode.
- Select your mesh and the empty s4studio_mesh_1 mesh of the earrings and join two meshes into one.
- Save the blender file and import it to the earring package.
- Import your diffuse map and change category to hat.
I'd suggest you redo a weight transfer as your mesh doesn't move with the neck properly. There's some clipping from the screenshot below.

Select all vertices in blender and Remove doubles. Also make sure the shading is set to smooth instead of flat.

The best way to test a bump map is to use a solid diffuse map with no texture at all. Your bump map shows up properly.

If you have correctly imported your custom thumbnail, delete localthumbcache.package in folder Electronic Arts>The Sims 4 (parent folder of the Mods folder) and go in game. Your custom thumbnail should show up.

Please share the original blender file. Can't tell the issue from the exported mesh file.

Your normal map looks incorrect. How did you make it? A correct normal map should look like below. The entire image should be grey with a grey background in a similar tone. Yours is not grey and there're undesired colors like red and green in it.

size of your diffuse map is 2048x4096, which is twice the size of a non-HQ diffuse map. Your normal map is 1024x1024 which is non-HQ. I've never made any cc in HQ but I guess that's why your normal map shows half-size. Maybe try make the normal map 2048x2048.

You can manually open the localthumbcache.package located in The Sims 4 folder (parent folder of the Mods folder) with sims4studio. All the CAS generated thumbnails are stored in this file. You can export the one of your cc into png and import back to your package.
