So I'm converting a couch from Sims 2 and I'm not sure how to go about doing it because the couch has 2 parts to it and sofas in Sims 4 only have 1 texture and I'm not sure if making the UV map fit both textures or something but I'm not very familiar how to do so? so if anyone could help!

Is there any tutorials on how to add sitting slots? I created a robot chair thing and need to be able to move the slot for the cats and make a slot for sims to sit on

- CREATOR HELP FAQ. I'm assuming the transparency issues are in game right? Because you can rely on S4S' preview for that. Have you checked that the tree you pick doesn't sway with the wind? because most tree do this and yours will do that too. So i suggest cloning a bush or something similar that has two textures (if you don't want to edit yours and the uv so they are both in one big texture.. ) Please read the following links: - How to make an object have transparency (add alpha). - Adding light source. - How to make a Sims 4 lamp that lights correctly. You'll have to export/import the light string into your package from the original tree and paste its tuning id too. In my opinion, editing the UV and texture to merge both textures into one is the easiest. Then paint the vertex paint for the light. Oh, I didn't see the tree swaying because it did it so slightly so that makes sense, but every single bush seems to only have one texture that doesn't sway and I checked every potted plant and the wishing well and they all seem to not work with it and thinks for those links!

No, i've mentioned that this issue isn't mesh related. You have to edit your texture's alpha channel in your image editor. unless you aren't saving your textures as .dds If you're using .png, then you need to cut the chunk of the texture that is outside the hat space. Overlay the BODY TEXTURE MAP with your textures and you'll see it doesn't match up. Its fixed! Thank you so much!!

Hi! The problem isn't with the mesh but with your textures. They are overlapping beyond the hat space into the hair space. Reduce the alpha channel to match the hat space, and even smaller if the uv of your object isn't even going that far. Either way, the uv_1 was still incorrect so i suggest to delete it/keep that version deleted. Hello im a bit confused on what reducing alpha channel means? Do you want me to move the uv map over?

Oh it looked like that was what you needed, the other objects behind it are outlined in those objects i was so wrong!!! when reading and looking at the steps it didn't really seem right. I wasn't thinking of the shadow being there but more so the object being invisible. You were right and it worked THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!! No problem glad its fixed

Please delete the uv_1 as I suggested and test it out in game. I don't see any issues with uv_0. I deleted uv_1 and the hairs are still bugged

Is the first hair from the game? sorry, i've already lost track of new items. Can you tell me the hairs displayed here? Also you need delete the extra uv_1: The First one is from cats and dogs and the other one is from dine out, but it happens to the majority of hairs, but not all, but shouldn't I delete uv_0 because the texture is on that or does it not matter in Sims 4 studio?
