By editing or removing parts of an already existing mesh you'd have to edit the Uv map too. Since your texture is applied on the sims' body UV, you will not only have the texture on your mesh but on the whole body too. I think this tutorial should help you: sims4studio.com/thread/5055/elia-quick-sims-help-tutorial

Hey guys, figured I might aswell create a creator studio since I really like this website, the tutorials, and all the helpful people who made Sims4Studio possible Right now I am working on new potting planters as I grew tired of the ones that came with the base game and there's not a lot of variety of CC for it. I haven't uploaded these yet since they don't have any LODs yet (and people will probably flame me for not doing them :P) The first one is based on a cooking pot as I really like the idea of re-using old, unused stuff to make something new of it. The second planter is way bigger and resembles a water pot, like these one you'd have in your garden to get water from to water (no pun intended) your plants and bushes. I will probably do more of these if I can get myself up and stop being a lazy bum :P

So you were trying to create nude clothing? If so, you need to edit the Normal Map (and I believe the Specular Map too). Otherwise you will have these lines from the original item on your sims' body.

I made this tattoo really quick starting of as an eyeliner and I think it looks how it's supposed to be. I am not sure if tattoos are supposed to be fully opaque as yours is, hence why EA's tattoos are either fully opaque black or colored and transparent. So yeah, I believe creating your tattoo as an eyeliner and change the categories in the Warehouse Tab to "TattooTorsoFrontUpper" is the quickest and easiest way to make it work.

Hello!
What Part Type is this tattoo categorized as? (e.g Clothing Top, Socks, or Tattoos) It would help if you could send the .package file of your tattoo so we can take a look at it.

Hi!
In the S4S tabs, go to tools -> modding and add Glass Shader (CAS) to your project. This will make your alpha texture show up in the game. The reason why it shows up, as you described, cardboard-ish is because the Sims 4 was created with non-alpha hairs, or clay hairs if that makes sense.
The addition of alpha hair is only possible through glass shaders, unlike in Sims 3 the glass shader was basic for hairs, if I remember correctly.
I hope that makes sense.

Thanks to both of you! This was just very confusing for me as some of these values need to be extremly low to only slighty move them. I removed the slot for planting a tree now and came across this issue: "Can't plant this when there's another tree seed in the planter already." I really only just put the seeds for the bushes into the planter.

Hey guys, long time no see! I recently got into objects creating, and moving and/or creating slots is giving me more of a hard time. I was following the tutorial by orangemittens about how you can copy and paste the X,Y,Z values from Blender, but the slots just won't fit the middle of each soil. Those numbers and maths in general (lol) are very confusing to me, and I was wondering if any of you guys have any clues about how to make this easier.

Hello,
I think the easiest way to do that would be to put a Cylinder inside the bottle and turn it transparent later, so it appears liquid.

Could you upload the package so we can take a look at it?

For a nude body mesh you would need to use the yfBody_EF01SwimStrapless_SolidBlack_201609021504482649 file. Just need to remove the texture.

Wait this was possible in Sims 2?
You could mesh something like this but I won't believe it would work as a functional wall.

You could try and resize your texture to 2048x4096, and then redo that part. This way the filesize becomes higher but the quality improvement is visible. Another option is to subdivide your mesh, but I don't recommend this since this increases the Mesh its polycount.
As for the transparency, Sims4Studio provives an option to create the glass shader (SimSkin, the most common shader for transparency) for all of your LODs. On top of the Sims4Studio menu select "Tools->Modding->Glass Shader (CAS)" and confirm the pop-up message with "Ok".
