I do know that you just a add a colision object and then typically add your plane and this forms on top Of your object...but...What if I want the fabric to "coil" around an object rather than just form on it?? What I'm trying to achieve is a blanket similiar to the one below.. How Do I achieve the look of the blanket? Basicly I'm DYING to make those creases of the blanket below.. These can also be used for future projects using the cloth simulator... ~Thanks~

NOTE:I wasn't quite sure whether this belongs in the Sims 4 Chat thread (since it's not a mod or cc) or here.If it does however just let me know and I'll repost this to the Sims 4 Chat Section Ok so I'm currently working on making custom thumbnails but..when using alpha hair like me it's kinda hard to "cut" around the edges of the hair and then copy-paste the sim in my background... I've seen a tut on Tumblr doing something with the alpha (channel not hair) but I've completely forgot where I found it nor I know what to "Google" for it.. And now every time I try doing the thumbnails my sim ends up with blue inside the hair edges (cause of the actual CAS background that's blue..) So how do I exactly do this thing?? BTW my background colour is a black to grey ombre one.... ~Thanks~

No the poses are WAY easier to do than making new meshes.... Sorry inabadromance for the lack of details-- I'll now go to a full explanation ^^ But anyways I'm refering to objects (Build & Buy mode) and here I'll be explaining an issue I had with a stove... That error usually consists when doing conversions cause the rig for these 2 items is WAY different... So I've converted an EA stove for TS3 (the one from Midnight Hollow btw) to TS4... And while I did adjust my mesh a lot to match the original (from TS4) when the sim tried to fry something the pan would "sink" in the mesh And not appear correctly on the top of the stove instead.... I've adjuted the rig to the new (TS3) mesh but still same poo...

Yes inabadromance i didn't explain it as good...basicly it's a general quetion: The rig is how the sim will interact with the object right? Well while I've adjusted it as good as possible nothing really happened and the interaction animations are terrible :/ So I'd like to know how do adjust the rig and how it actually works...

So I did make a previous thread but it wasn't yet completed... And while I do know a couple things about meshing how does the rig work? And how do we adjust it to our mesh??
~Thanks~

So I've recently been into "Converting" stuff from other games to TS4 using a site that has extracted meshes from other games... I really want to achieve a plush toy that will have the actual sound of the character of the original game (Daisy in my case from the Mario Series..) I kinda thought of it like: Sim goes to hug the toy -> then the toy makes the sound! Is this possible or nah?
~Thanks~

Is there a way to make your own collectible thingy? For example I want to make collectible cards (Like these of the TS3 towns) but with cat quotes in them.. Like: *Sim' Name* found a cat collectible card! Check your sim's inventory etc... But how do I recolour the main thing with the cat pictures and make it functionable? Or it's not possible yet?
~Thanks~

So I wanted to create a very shiny-leather like texture for a swimsuit.... And while I did brighten A LOT the specular it's still not very shiny CAS unless you see it from a different angle... So is there something else I can do to make it shiny??
~Thanks~

Apply the 'decimate' modifier to the object. It's not perfect but it's the easiest way and works fine for most objects/CAS items. Click the wrench tab on the right while in object mode, choose 'add modifier' and pick decimate. You'll get a slider that you can use to decide what % to reduce the polys by. This is also the best way to make LODs, too! Hopefully it makes sense without pictures Yes it sure does! Thank you!!

I've made a mesh in blender but it now take FOREVER to load in studio... So is there a way to actually reduce polygons?
~Thanks~

I've been trying really hard to make a mesh in blender but my meshing skills suck... Could someone please link me to tutorial on hair sculpting? (I'm stuck on how I fill the head with a plane atm) And I have also read that you need to reeduse the poly's after the mesh is done..but how can I do that in blender??
EDIT:I've now realised that planes are only visible from one side...but the fringe that I made out of planes will disappear...help pleasee
~Thanks~

I've created a mesh on my tumblr but when I copy the link from SimFileShare the main page doesn't show up. It's just a blank page and the dowload starts automaticly without pushing download. And there's no adds litteraly just a blank page... So my question is.... How do I PROPERLY add a link from SimFileShare for others to download??
~Thanks~
