So I've created a mesh which I want to make usable by throwing some animations in it... But I'm confused at the moment as to how I do that.. Can i choose some premade animations to attach to the mesh or I have to clone a similiar item and go with that??
~Thanks~

I've just received an e-mail from SimFileshare saying that I can register an account using the provided code . BUT...I don't own a credit card yet and I don't plan on getting one (please respect my opinion and don't ask why I won't get one) So the question is...is simfileshare COMPLETELY free or you have to use a credit card in order for your packages to be uploaded?? I did ask the person who contacted me 4 days ago but still no response. Please be clear in your answer... The reason why I chose SimFileShare is that in the main page it says free unlimited file hosting...--but I'm still not sure about it... And I wanna know if you use credit card and stuff before I do register an account.
~Thanks~

hi! without a picture is a tad difficult to know what the issue is. but I'm assuming it's the normals. in edit mode, hold alt and click on one of the vertice borders of the blanket. all the border should be selected automatically. go to mesh, edges, split edge. if the border doesn't get selected then you did the back of the blanket or used solidify. you'll have to select all the edges manually with edge tool. you'll have to hold ctrl and do little circles or lines over each of them to select them. it'd be easier to explain with a photo of the issue, package and blend file. Sorry inabadromance for not uploading any pics- i have no idea how to upload a picture straight from my pc so if you could tell me how I'll be glad! However I'm still a beginer and i didn't understand clearly what I'm supposed to do. Could you explain it again please if you don't mind??? ~Thanks~ EDIT:--I've now realised that-yes- I did use solidify

For some reason it has a grey line on the edges....
I didn't use the sculpt tools but I did use the clothing simulator in blender.
Whad shall I do to fix this??

So I've just learned about the clothing simulator on Blender.... However when I try to switch to Edit or Sculpt mode the plane that I used will turn back to it's original shape and not the lovely cloth it was before. I literaly cannot do anything with this as it resets back to the main plane form. And when I tried to import my mesh in TS4 Studio it had the main plane form as well. Is there something that I can do to make it stay like cloth all the time???
~Thanks~

I do know that baking the shadows in blender is an option but...what if I wanna make the fabric creased a bit?? Usually that isn't achieved by baking the shadow. So Do I have to paint them on the texture??? I've tried that and it just ended terrible.... Is there a tutorial on that kind of shadows??
~Thanks~

I'm thinking of creating a book themed about cat breeds and I'd like the interaction to be something like : "Read About Cat Breeds" and not just : " Read" but...how can I add this thing to the book?
~Thanks~

How does the game treat objects that don't have a normal or specular map? From the common problems thread I would have assumed, that you best don't just delete them. Also I faintly remember having read somewhere, that Sims3 textures had different sizes than those used in Sims4 - do your textures have the measurements specified in the common problems thread? Edit: If you cannot find a place to upload your custom objects to, OrangeMittens made a tutorial about how to use One Drive here, dropbox is a free and easy to use option as well. Nope..not at all. that's why I see VERY weird glossy shines everywhere and the size is very very weird as well. Next time I'll do the conversions again and I'll blank the specular map Really thanks to everyone though!! I didn't know all of that usefull stuff

You shouldn't delete any resource of the package for that porpouse. If you don't want the specular or the bump map to have any effect in the game render. Blank them. Import a blank specular and a blank bump map image. It doesn't require to have the same size of your item's uv. You can reduce it even to 4x4. Also, SimFileShare is free. Thanks everyone!! That's very usuful!! and Mathcope is SimFileShare really free??? Yay!!!!

I peeked at them quickly and my first impression is that it is something with the normal or spectacular. Did you change them? Also seconding Feyona the package will give us a better idea Uhm..I usually delete the specular (my logic) and other stuff like that in the warehouse tab. As for the package I'm still waiting for SimFileShare to accept my request for the account. It does say that it is free in the main page but if it requires any payment and stuff I'll close my account as I don't have a credit card yet. ~Thanks~

So I have been doing a lot of conversions (objects) lately and most of them have a very weird shine on them.Sometimes it's kinda yellow-ish. Also Today I have noticed a weird shadow on a canvas mesh I've done by myself. And something else that's wrong is that a mesh's texture has a very 8-bit texture and the mesh is round. It looks awful. Can you please tell me what' I'm doing wrong?? ~Thanks~ P.S you can see some pics over here: ~Click Here~
