Right now, Harmony makes a .package that contains only resources you edited. So, for example, if you clone your own 3D mesh.package to make a recolor and import only new textures, Harmony will reference your mesh from the original .package because no changes were made to it. This change was put into Harmony to limit redundant resources being stuck in people's mods folder. The downside, as you are all pointing out, is that if you want to make a truly standalone recolor of your own CC, you have to manually export all the meshes from the old .package and import them into the new one. This feature wasn't introduced to cause people to have to do this just to make a recolor of their own content that doesn't need the original in the .package with it. As Andrew stated in the quote fuyaya posted, this will be rectified in the next version of Harmony. The default behavior will remain as it is, but there will be a choice creators can pick that will cause Studio to include resources in the new .package even if they were not changed. Hello! In version 3.0.0.9. this problem has been fixed?

I reported this previously fuyaya , nivea , and daweesims the Harmony version has changed CAS in the way that it will not include the mesh or textures unless they are edited. We will add an option to include all resources in the next version for this purpose, but the default behavior will be to not include these items in order to keep package sizes smaller. So this is a changement made in the last version Thank you. I hope to solve this problem, because It was very uncomfortable to create. Especially that both meshes belong to me.

nastasya can you share your package and provide a link to custom file mesh that you are trying to recolor? Oh sure. Skirt 07 is the original, the skirt 08 is a copy of the mesh. original meshcopy

Hello nastasya ! What version of the studio did you use? If you used 3.0.0.6, download the newest one (3.0.0.8) and try again. Also make sure that you copied that custom mesh to Studio mods folder, it's located in C:\Users\User Name\Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Mods. I am using version 3.0.0.8. All checked, all right. The very puzzled.

Here's a tutorial that shows how to make a recolor of custom content. It will work whether you made the content or someone else did. If you want the recolor to work without the original item in the Sims 4/Mods folder (your game Mods folder), then select create 3D mesh instead. This will cause the mesh to be included in the .package along with the textures. You won't have to do anything differently after that selection. Does not work. I create a 3D mesh, and the mesh is not included. The game looks like this.

Hi nastasya , do you have a screen shot showing the issue? On the skins original lipstick bright and dark, it can be clearly seen. But as seen in the rest of the skins. At last no immovably lipstick. What to do to make it all looked like on original skin?

Hello again! When adding skirt game in office, it is displayed in this way. The hands are too close to the body. Why?

nastasya trim a little bit of the texture of the bottom, and dont forget the alpha layer. Or you could adjust the UV map in blender, ie if you have the image in the UV window and highlight the bottom row of verts, just drag them down a bit (or up which ever way works) Thank you very much! Everything worked out.

I try.

All perfectly. But Sims Studio 4 I have a problem. Texture incorrectly placed. And if I raise it above the bottom of the skirt is losing texture.
