Hi leighann009, when you say "it came back" what do you mean? If you are receiving an error from Studio please post the error message along with the steps you took that lead to the error occurring.

Hi lalabutts, welcome to Studio forums. What is the path to your installed Sims 4 game?

Hi everyone,
I had the same problems and any solutions below solved this problems. But then I find the solution :
Try to click right on the icon of the Sims 4 on your desktop and click on " Open the folder " (something like that, sorry I'm french and I don't know how it's translate in english) Then you should have the folder where the Sims 4 application is. Look at the path on this window it is the wright path to enter on Sims 4 Studio.
I don't know if it's really clear but it worked for me. Sorry for my english, hope it will be helpful.

If you downloaded the game from Origin it is typically found in Program Files(x86)/Origin Games/The Sims 4. If you didn't download it from Origin games Studio forums is not the place to discuss that.

I have installed The Sims 4 studio , but when I open the program , and when I check the root , tells me " no path game " .What should I do ? I'm going crazy .. I tried to select the " Electronic Art " of Documents , but nothing ..I don't have Origin.

Hey, I was stuck on this too! I followed her directions. When you see game paths, go to This PC (or My Computer) click the C or D drive and find Program Files (x86 or Programs) and go to Origin Games and click on "The Sims 4"

@jwofles I'm another Mac user who's having the same problem. I should have the latest version of s4studio, since I downloaded it directly from this site a couple of weeks ago, and my Sims 4 app is up to date through Origin. The problem is, when I installed Sims 4 (also a couple of weeks ago) it seems to be contained entirely within the Origin app. There isn't (and never was) any 'Sims 4' app in my applications folder or anywhere on my computer. I can only access it through the Origin app, so the game must be somehow packaged inside that. I tried looking inside Origin by selecting 'show package contents' but there's nothing of use in there (I looked inside the enclosed folders but there was no Sims app. Attached screenshot to show what I mean. (in case that doesn't work, image url = imgur.com/QRhKjkv ) I'm not an expert in any of this, so any help is appreciated!
