Hi. I just started with downloading the sims 4 studio, and In the beggining I have to choose my game file path. I locate it to my sims 4 folder, and it doesn't work! HELP Mod edit:
Unzip with 7zip or use the installer Make sure your game path is correct. It should contain the folders shown C:/Program Files (x86)/Origin Games/The Sims 4

Hi leoplaysgames, welcome to Studio forums. Can you show the path that you're giving Studio to find your game file path?

Well, it wasn't working with me when I used to go to "My Documents / Sims 4" you have to select the folder that's on "My Computer/ Programs/ Origin Games/ The sims 4, it worked with me, good luck!

Hi kuzma, welcome to Studio forums. Can you post a picture of what you're seeing that you call the "same thing with some paths..."

I just install and ran it. I did the whole C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4. But on mine it doesn't have "the sims 4" folder in origin games.

Hi kittydarling, welcome to Studio forums. If you don't have The Sims 4 in your Origin games folder then you don't have The Sims 4 installed through Origin Games. If you purchased the game through Origin you will need to install it for it to show up in your Origin Games folder. If you purchased the disk version you will need to patch the game through Origin and give Studio the correct path to where you installed it.

leighann009, welcome to Studio forums. When setting the path to your game don't include the Mod folder as part of the path. Studio needs the entire game to run...not the contents of the Mods folder. The path you should have is something like: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4.
