xoxdahlia - That is so very kind of you♥ Pretty soon we wont need a batch fix anymore lol. Happy Halloween! My pleasure! Xx TBH becoming so intimately familiar with the cutout mechanics has made me wonder how a batch fix would truly be possible given the subjectivity of mesh shapes and dimensions (eg door/window frame width), though I have full faith in the S4S’s team’s wizardry! In any event, I hope that I can help take some of the pressure off poor Andrew who’s probably sick of the words batch and fix by this point. Between active creators fixing their work, folks stepping up to fix work that’s no longer supported and a creator brain-trust re how to make sure cutouts work for all future windows and doors, maybe we may not need a batch fix as desperately after all. I’m always happy to help, especially as I think we could all use some good vibes and pretty CC at the moment. 😂 |

Oh, oh, oh! xoxdahlia you are just so wonderful to be fixing all of these amazing sets. Please let me know if you need original files for any future revisions as I have an extensive download archive and would be more than willing to grab files for you. @wj your tutorial helped so much. Seriously, I am so proud of our community for stepping up to deal with this issue and help out the sims4studio team and andrew . Does anybody have pictures of Tinglelingelater's doors and windows? The patreon is gone, the tumbler is emptied, and the other website is for other things. By the way, thanks, dahlia, for your work!

The pictures! The other links to the creators work fine and we can see what the windows & doors look like, but Tingelingelater's sites don't have the pictures of the original items on them anymore.

Hi Lucy I've poked around and managed to dredge up Tingelingelater's preview pics for the original files which I've uploaded for you here: www.simfileshare.net/download/2134808/ The file names should help you figure out which picture is of which set.  In the .zip with the fixed files, I've also included some (way less artistic or visually appealing) preview pics showing all the windows/doors/arches fixed for each set on a single wall, just so people can have a feel for what all has been fixed. Hope that's helpful! xx |
