Just wondering if anyone has tested 'The Town Build Windows' by Tingelingelater and updated by Dahlia. I have downloaded the set twice but they aren't working for me apart from the large window. Not sure if it's just me, I would appreciate if someone can test the set and let me know. Thank you (in advance)  |

I'm hoping it's not a stupid question to ask, but I'm genuinely terrified of it.
If you try to use any potentially broken cc doors/windows, will it crash your game or just look very glitched out? I think I've updated/deleted all of the doors/windows I've downloaded, but I worry if I miss some and try to use them.

Felixandre and Harrie are active creators, not retired or inactive, and that set is a free set, not stuck behind an EA-prohibited paywall. Felixandre has already updated all his non-collab stuff, so hopefully the items from their joint sets will follow shortly.

These are the City Windows which all work for me

Lorry I just double checked the windows to make sure that they are all BaseGame compatible which they are. So I'm not sure why they wont show/work in your game. As you can see on Dahlia's preview picture included in the download file, the windows do work after her Model cutout fix. Have you tested them alone with nothing else in your mods folder? If not, try it and see. Just make sure you exit the game without saving after the test. Thank you for testing the windows for me LuvMySimz
I did place the windows on their own in game, and I did see the picture posted by Dahlia.
I am baffled as to why they aren't working for me 
I wonder if they are conflicting with a game mod.
I will take everything out and test again!

Lorry Try deleting and redownloading them, but before you do, if your My Documents folder is integrated with OneDrive, turn that off. I have been told, and do not at all doubt, that the syncing plays hell with deleting and replacing files.

They work in my game, so I don't *think* the issue lies with the files themselves. But if you continue to have difficulty after trying the fix Cidira suggested (and any other advice) I can re-clone the files for you with new instances, and hopefully whatever weirdness was occurring will be resolved. Just let me know. xx Also, I probably should add that I uploaded another round of requested fixes. :DEnjoy! |

Given how the cutout changes work, and the fact that the windows work for other people who downloaded them, I'd be very very surprised if the problem turns out to be anything except still having the old files. (It's also never a bad idea to double-check that there aren't duplicates of the old files lurking in a subdirectory or something, as well as eliminating potential OneDrive sync issues.)
