Hi, orange, is there any reason why the program doesn't support the newest version of Blender (2.75) yet? Is there some sort of conflict that prevents the new version of Blender from working with Sims4studio?

Hi willylibertine, welcome to Studio forums. The reason Studio doesn't support 2.75 is because Blender updates quite frequently and, when it does, it often does not include backward compatibility with addons made for previous versions. Such is the case for 2.75. We beta tested a Studio version that worked with 2.75 and it did not go well. Updating Studio for compatibility with it will take a lot of time and we chose to instead remove that compatibility and add new features instead. Once Studio has more of the features everyone wants then we can focus on updating for Blender's update. In the meantime you can use 2.75 out of a folder and transition your .blends to the game through 2.70 installed on your computer

Is it possible to have 2 packages open with Studio at the same time? For comparison?
Chasing an invisible thumbnail on a recolor, I have its mesh in another package, but the 2nd set isn't showing the item picture in the CAS "shirts" window. The shirts show up fine on the sim, it's only the thumbnail shots that are invisible.
I was hoping to open both Warehouse tabs to see what's different/missing (just for my own interest), but that isn't working.
I've asked the creator about the 2 files, just covering bases by also asking if Studio has multi-package support, or if it's one per instance. Thanks!

Studio can only open one .package per instance of Studio at a time but you can have two instances of Studio open at once to compare two different .packages.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" (for Blender ppl.) LOL! But, "you know engineers, they love to change things!" Gratuitous Star Trek quote. (We're all engineers, s4s is our train, right?) Thanks, fuyaya and orangemittens . Figured it out after Fuyaya's post, but I got hit by a Sleep NOW wave and crashed before I could say thanks to you both. Happy Holidays!

Well, we would like to update for it eventually but it isn't that pressing because the new version of Blender doesn't really have functional updates that add any low poly meshing features. It claims that it has an improvement to its ability to handle normals present on a mesh coming to Blender from other programs but several beta testers called that claim into question. Other than that there really isn't anything. Since Sims 4 meshing is, by necessity, low poly meshing there just didn't seem much point to struggling to get this in in favor of continuing to add features that many creators and players have requested...like custom content management, roofs, improved error handling, optimizing speed, and etc.
The Sugar series, with the exception of a few other features, is focused on CC management including overhauling our merged.package system so .packages can be unmerged. This is a time consuming overhaul and one that many, many people have asked for. The next series will be focused on creator centered features in Studio. There's so much still to be done to perfect Studio and the Blender update is pretty low on that list.

I can not download the "sugar" my system says it is not safe, how to do? If you tried with Chrome, try a different browser. Windows 10's Edge downloaded it just fine here, but I also couldn't do it with Chrome.
