I don't know if this is a possibility or if it has been suggested before, but I'd like to be able to add swatches to existing objects within the game (just like we can do with CAS) to de-clutter our menus. I like cursedbeasts's suggestions too, it would be helpful for where there is a set palette (EA's 18 hair colours) or a custom palette we use often. Also, where we can upload custom thumbnails for swatches etc it would maybe be good to have a little popup (maybe mouseover) saying what size/format the image we upload needs to be especially if there is "nothing in there" yet that we can export and base our thumbnail on.

Hoping no one has said this yet, but I would love to see a batch fix for gender tags. For instance I have a folder of womens shoes I would like to tag for female and feminine use only. But going in and doing them individually is a pain. I'd love to make that process easier.
Also a batch fix for restrict opposite frame & gender if it's possible.

Just found out why my Sims were showering/bathing in clothing, even with the mod installed to reset it (situation checkbox checked). Would love a batch fix for CAS to uncheck the box instead of going through hundreds of cc files to fix it. Please?

This tool has only gotten better.
I have two requests for your consideration.
1.) For Objects, can you add a export normal/specular map shortcut in the texture tab? 2.) For Objects, can you add an easier way to update the shader an object uses for model parts? It's a pain to update a shader for each size, as well as burnt or dirty if it exists.
Thank you for your time.

*This is pretty minor but I'd like the ability to have the option to not save as a .package file every time I try to do something. Reasoning: Occasionally I'll use objects and accessories and It always asks to save as a package file when I only need to use the mesh for animating. It's kind of annoying| *Ctrl (Or Command) Z *Ability to make normals and speculars blank from the warehouse tab

Hello! I know it's probably really specific but I would love to see some alternative to the scroll wheel when zooming in or out on the preview model. I think a way to go around it would be keyboard shortcuts? Like ctrl and + to zoom in and ctrl and - to zoom out... I and others who for whatever reason can't use or don't have a scroll wheel on their mice would appreciate such a feature very much

Any chance we could have a list of cheat codes included in the program somewhere for easy looking up? I've been needing the preview cheats a lot recently but cannot remember it correctly and have to come and search for it each time. Actually, just a stickied post with them listed in here on the forums would be helpful.

I would like it if it is possible to move/shift/position Rigs/Slots by dragging then on the 3D screen.

I'd love to be able to make fences and railings. There are not only limited options in game, but there are quite a few fences that don't have matching railings. I'd like to fix that

(finally reached the post number required to make this suggestion)
A few Sims4Studio versions ago, when batch exporting textures they were exported in RLE2Image format. This could easily be converted to png by just renaming which came in handy when you wanted to have the texture in png format in the first place and also when converting textures to be HQ mod compatible (png saves a lot faster than dds). Now the batch export gives you files in dds format only. I'd suggest to add the option to batch export as png as well like it is implemented for the single export already.

Hi remussirion , the batch export from the Warehouse is meant to export multiple resources that will be exchanged between .packages. For this reason, it must be able to export different kinds of resources and they all need to be in the format that can be imported directly into another .package. If you want to batch export all images from a .package you can do that from the Studio tab using the cheat code studio.exportall. This cheat code was added in Harmony (I believe although it may be older, I would have to look at the changelog notes) as the start of a feature that will eventually be incorporated into the UI (rather than a cheat code). Using that code will give you a folder that contains all images and meshes in the .package. You can just delete the ones you don't need. The images come out as .png. To those who posted about the swatch-reordering feature, a new toggle has been added to the swatch-switcher in the post-Pets patch version of Studio To those who posted about the situational tags for CAS, a new update to the batch fix for garments that show up on random Sims has been included in the post-Pets patch version of Studio. This should remove the uniform and style tags that were causing some garments to show up even after batch fixing. Please give that a try and let us know if the problem has been taken care of. Hi peacemaker , the process of updating CC that you're describing is something that's best accomplished by batch-fixing. That way, people who are unaccustomed to making CC or editing .packages in the Warehouse can click a single button and fix all their items with no stress. It also reduces the effort of going through hundreds of .packages to a very easy, brief button-click. If you're making a new item, you can add the tags you want to the first swatch. All swatches you add after that will have the tag unless you remove it. The Warehouse is sort of by definition, not a section of Studio that we plan to add automated UI features to (with the exception of some features for day-to-day tuning-type tasks). If a process is something that people need to use for day-to-day CC creation, the best place to deal with that is the Studio tab. The Warehouse is not a CC creation or management tool per se, it is a package resource editor. Hi Eli , we plan to look into the disappearing sofas and couches. The version of Studio that goes up after the release of the Pets expansion will have a batch-fix for broken CAS items (the ones with their hands jammed into their sides). That version, or one soon after, will have a fix for sofas/couches (depending on how long it takes to update Studio for Pets). Obviously, getting Studio out there so people can mod the new Pets things is the priority, but we will not neglect the sofas/couches
