This is for a personal project project for myself, I am trying to age down a pair for shoes for adults to kids. All seems well in blender EXCEPT for one shoe having this issue in sims 4 studio. I have been at this almost a week now. I have been following these 2 tutorials and but everytime I get this SAME issue, sometimes it's the other foot pics here. Files here

Hey, based on picture you can try slecting all wrong foot in blender and recalculate outside Thanks for getting back to me! I googled what that was and I tried recalculating the normals on the outside of that one foot. I did that under the mesh tab in edit mode. But now I have a new error.

Oh well looks like some recalculated and some didn't. Start again from first one and use Flip Direction instead Recalculate Outside, should give better result

I followed your advice, and I am still having some trouble. Ingame, this is happening now. I can provide updated files if needed.

You need to redo weights ad uv_1 for your shoes as you converted them from adults to kids. Choose similar reference mesh and transfer from it. Also replace shadow, specular and normal map of your base package cause your shoes are different than ones you use as base. For maps I think you can use ones from adult package

For maps I think you can use ones from adult package I tried a few things before I realized you responded! I did transfer map files from the adult ones to mine, BUT I found this other tutorial that didn't say anything about the thing with the weights, so I just transferred the ones from the adult ones and they move fine. link to that video here I fixed that wierd texture issue, BUT now I have an ugly seam at the ankles I don't know how to fix it! So far I tried... 1. This seam issue fix 2. This matching joint vertices solution 3. And adding different lodsBut I still have this issue! I have everything including the pics here. I really want to learn to do this myself, so I apologize if I have been a little annoying.

When you create kids shoes as a reference for weights and uv you use kids shoes, not adults. You have uv_1 only for one leg done. Export kids sandals mesh and retransfer weights and uv_1 using settings as in pictures below. After transfering weights use options: Clean (All Groups) and Limit total (Limit to 4). They are in weights menu above transfer weights button I can't open your blend files, what blender version you use? Finally I exported them from package to look at them You probably need to remove doubles and edge split your meshes where shading should be sharp
Create lower lods only when your LOD_0 is done and you won't edit it anymore
