Hi. I don't know if this is the right place to put this as it's my first time posting on the S4S forums, but it is Creator Help so here we go. I've been using S4S for a long time now and its worked fine. But recently, I don't know why, nothing has been showing up. I mean nothing. I go to Create CAS Standalone and nothing from the actual Sims 4 is showing up. It's just blank. I tried running it as administrator and still nothing. I tried to see if like a path was wrong but I don't know really where the path actually goes, but I imagine it is supposed to be the Sims 4 folder. If anyone has had this issue and knows a working fix that won't have me messing with all my computer properties, I would be very grateful. Thanks MODERATOR’S EDIT:
SOLUTION: - make sure the game path in the S4S settings is set to \The Sims 4\, not \The Sims 4\Game\ or \The Sims 4\Game\Bin\. If you will change it, make sure to close S4S for it to update;
- Run as Administrator;
- If the first solution won’t work, add S4S to exceptions in your antivirus software. If you do not know how, please google “how to add exceptions in (the name of your antivirus). If you are using Windows and do not have a third-party antivirus software, add an exception to Windows Defender.

Couldn't you have the CC only box ticked and would have no CC in your sims4studio folder? (c:\user\my documents\sims4studio or something like that for this specific path)
Did you try uninstall and reinstall s4s maybe?
If the file path to the game was wrong studio should give you a message that it doesn't find the game. So it should be something else.

I have the same problem ! i tried to unistall and reistall but ...nothing !
I can only see the Custom content but i can't make recolors because they don't show up in game ( and sometimes in CAS ).
What can i do ? ;(

If game items are not showing up on your thumbnail list, make sure you have correctly set the path to your game files. Look in the Settings (upper gray bar, left side).

I checked everything, and everything seems to be in the right place. I use sims 4 studio by always, i never had a problem like this and this is so frustrating. I have the latest version of s4studio .
I don't know if this is important but my sims 4 game has all the expansions except City living ( for the moment ).

Is the problem that the thumbnail list of items isn't showing up when you try to clone something or that your recolors aren't showing in the game?

the thumbnail list of items isn't showing up , my sims 4 studio appear white and empty ...no clothes and no objects. I can only see the custom content that i download from internet. It's hard for me to explain the problems because i don't speak english, i try to post some pics : 1) This is what i see when i try to create a CAS standalone ( same thing for the other options ) imgur.com/a/ufV8X2) I can only use this : imgur.com/a/AmpTQ But although I can see my cc , i can't recolor these cc because they will be transparent in game, and my sims will be naked. Make sure your game path is correct. One of the most common reasons this problem occurs is because the game files were inadvertently moved and Studio has the incorrect path. After you're sure the path to your game files is correct, delete your Documents/Sims 4 Studio folder and then restart Studio. This will make Studio reindex your game files.

Look in the Settings (upper gray bar, left side). hi i downloaded the sims 4 studio for mac. It keeps saying that my game path is not configured, even though i selected. Sims 4 documents= user - documents - electronic arts - sims 4 i also tried The sims 4 = Mackintosh hd - applications - sims 4.app still didn't work I've tried installing and reinstalling but it's still the same case. My mac version is macOS sierra 10.12.6 i really need your help on this please |

I have exactly the same problem...
I downloaded S4S today and The CAS items didn't show up only the Build and Objects (the path was correct, It wouldn't have appeared if it wasn't)
I did a recolor then closed S4S.Next time I reopened it there were no items(CC) in the CAS nor Objects nor Build. Tried to reinstall it but nothing changed( through the Zip and Installer as well)
I really want to work on some mods and I just don't understand what happened

I was wondering if anyone could help me. All game items show up but not CC (when custom content option is on). Yet, my CC shows up in game just fine and my path for the sims 4 folder is correct.
