Just checked requirements for Apple Blossom. Apparently they are different from PC version that I work in. For Apple Blossom working versions of Blender are: 2.70, 2.78 and 2.79. May be try 2.78 version.

2.70 and 2.76. Some users like me are not able to run Studio with anything higher than 2.78.

You can append the file in older version of Blender. Choose file-> append -> object and select "rig" for animations. It will get imported as rig001. Then you will need to open "rig", select all body parts, click ALT+P and select "clear parent". Delete "rig", selectall body parts and click on your "rig1" to select it the last, enter CTRL+P and select "Armature deform". Last step is optional. You can do the same thing by adding armature modifier to each body part and choosing "Rig001". Then you can save this file and import in Studio. I think before importing in Studio you need to rename rig001 to rig.

There is no picture. If you need help please post pictures right here. But judging from other pictures I guess I know what you are talking about. If you make meshes in MD they consist out of chaotically placed tris creating bad edge flow (for the game). In order to get rid of this problem in future meshes you need to retopologize them. mauvemorn created tutorials explaining how to do this. This is what you need. You don’t need to select .exe. Studio doesn’t need to use .exe files. It needs an access to the sims 4 entire folder to use its resources.

I don't understand what you mean. On the screen you see a uv map of the part that you selected. You need to place all details according to the main uv layout to make sure that all parts of the body located in dedicated areas. Do not unwrap EA's parts of the body, you will just ruing uv map.

When you ask for help with the project please share the file that are having trouble with. Without the file it is often impossible to guess where the problem is. In your case I am guessing it's a wrong size. It should be a power of 2 (256x256, 512x512, 1024x1024, 256x512 and so on).

No, it is impossible. There is no physics in the game, clipping is unavoidable.

I would select edge loop inside your frame and pressed F to create a face/cap. Then you need to separate it and make sure that it has correct cut number so it will replace game lense.

We have sim body textures here. I've added body textures with uv layout, I guess this is what you are looking for.

There is no such tutorial. Hair artists like Nightrcrawler, Leah Lillith just skip uv_1 and mesh hair further from the body. I've never made hair, but I worked with necklaces, and uv_1 in this case has to be extremely precise (I didn't succeed after hours and hours of attempts). I guess with current tools it is either impossible to make a proper uv_! for long hair, or we are not aware of the method.

It is easier to create low poly than reduce geometry after making it high poly. In your case I would select edge ring, then checker deselect, then select loops and dissolve edges. Watch this tutorial, it is perfect for objects like yours.

I am seeing mostly people here asking about badges they want and didn't get, so I would assume that you do let the moderators know here if you think someone is missing a badge, but just checking. You can post here and link profile of the user that is missing the badge. As soon as we see an update in this thread (I subscribed to it, so I get notified when someone posts here) we can issue the badge. And it’s perfectly fine to ask for yourself if you are missing it.
