I was wrong about the nose not being separate. I finally found it under accessories. Without more face paints though it's useless, so any face that has a white base, and a smile. I'm not particular about the eyes, so whatever would be easiest for you to make would be great! Happy New Year, and Thank You so much! *hugs* Aw, those are cute! (I really need a rainbow clown wig for my own sims at some point....) Okay, I'll hopefully get started on facepaints in the next 2-3 weeks after other stuff is done. Happy new year to you too :-D

I'm interested in making some happy clown facepaints and accessories! I made some for TS2 and TS1 before... just haven't gotten started on any clown CC for TS4 yet. Would you mind grabbing some reference pictures off of Google images or something for the type of clown faces you want? (And if you need things like a separate red nose or other accessories, I can't promise anything but having pics / a list of what you want would be good.)
I'm busy with other things right now, but I'll plan to make a kit of a few different ones later. :-D

I would really like my sim to go to a meetup since I cannot. Can someone pls give me an idea of what the building looks like by creating it, and make some cc pls. Thank you very much. Can you describe more what you mean? The general word "meet-up" to me is not something that has a specific type of building or CC associated with it, so some more information on what you're thinking about would help. Based on your thread title, "simmers meet-up", it's like a mini simmer convention maybe? :-o

yeah, mine is also like that,it's the "prt sc" button for taking a full screen screenshot but when I go into the game and I press the button, nothing happens. But when I do it outside of the game and in desktop,it works.actually it only works when it's in windowed mode. I found some results on google searching "printscreen doesn't work game", a few people said that some printscreen programs work and others don't, and someone else said to try the CTRL+PRTSC keys together. Maybe you can dig deeper into the search results, it seems like it's a problem for some people (I don't have this problem myself with Sims but I have seen it some years ago with a different game). Generally people recommend a program called Fraps (it's very well-known) which sounds like it might work for people who get this problem with the regular print screen function, but I've never tried it.

okay, thank you I'll try it! Edit:How do you take screenshots in game using Gadwin printscreen? I downloaded the app but now I can't take screenshots in game :\ I searched everywhere about it but found nothing. Check the settings of the program :-) For mine, I've set it up so that when I press the "prt sc" (print screen) button on my keyboard, Gadwin will take a screenshot and automatically save it in a specified folder. (When the program is running of course - which I have it do automatically on boot, so I don't forget.) I find it very useful but yeah you do have to try some settings that work for you.

Hi,I just noticed something! I took some screenshots of my sims and when I wanted to edit the shot in photoshop,I noticed it was too low quality that I couldn't even delete the background.I've been playing sims 4 for almost 2 years but I'm noticing it now :D My graphics is also set to ultra. In game everything looks fine but I don't know why the screenshots are terribly bad quality ,do you even have this issue or not?bc I see ppl share their photos and they're looking really good but mine is not. please help me,It just makes me so freak out!!!! XO There is a setting in-game for the resolution and quality of screenshots and films, but this may not help you much. Most people who are serious about taking screenshots either use some form of the computer's "print screen" function, or use an outside program that automates the print screen process. I use Gadwin PrintScreen on my Win laptop, on my Mac I just use the CMD+Shift+3 shortcut to save the pics automatically. :-) Edit: The part about deleting the background may also have to do with your PS tool settings.

orangemittens since the topic has come up: How do I create a studio recolourable? An acceptable poly count aside, do they have to be set up in a specific way or are you looking for special types of objects? I wonder the same things, it will be good to know. (This is the part of @suelady 's proposal that I found useful, for the sake of not having any "approval" mesh limits / waiting time to submitting new Studio recolourables, just sharing free meshes and other resources in a forum section -- but that could still be done in just a thread, etc!)

Without wanting to be the spoilsport, but if you wish people to provide meshes for something which essentially are Studio Recolourables - why don't you simply ask for more people to provide Studio Recolourables? ^^ Afterall, the recolourables are comfortably included in studio already. They could however, really need a little more advertisement. I thought this too, but at the same time, if more people started providing "completely free" meshes it might be an unnecessary amount of work to continously be adding them into the S4S install (and people could instead download just the ones they want off of the "free resources" forum section).

Low-poly Shrek ears, categorised as glasses (custom thumbnail), one green swatch that matches with the Maxis green skintone. I did this as a random quick project to learn how to work with accessories, so I'm happy I succeeded after having many problems with understanding the weight and vertex painting and stuff. Should be basegame compatible, tested in my game only, let me know if there are problems. #accessory #accessories #ears #shrek #dreamworks #cosplay #maxismatch

Also, I would definitely contribute public domain meshes if we did start such a section on the forum! Just simple stuff but still. (It'd be like an extension of the "Studio recolourables" that are already in the program, I guess?)

Clown Confetti yep exactly that would be the difference. Kind of public license :D It is one thing to recolor but you can't include the mesh! Especially in some cases the original creator shut their simblr site down, and you still have your recolors up but the mesh is gone for good. Actually this item cannnot be used any more and this is sad in some cases. Well, there are some creators who do allow the mesh to be included (me for example, and I write it clearly in my ToU). But again, I agree it might help to have a section specifically about this where you can also have updated lists about creators who allow recolours and/or mesh inclusion and mesh edits. :-) Yeah, it's definitely sad how some creators' work disappear over time.

!!! UPDATE !!!See first postAnimated Water Shimmering EffectFor more realism in your pools, fountains and custom ponds you can add this Water Shimmering effect to the water surface. That's great! I was looking at the 'hood water shimmering just yesterday when I was playing and thinking it'd be nice if there was more of it :-D

I think it's a nice idea to make more resources for newbies, but, many creators already allow their meshes to be recoloured. For people who can't create meshes (yet), allowing them to use a freebie mesh is the same thing as them recolouring an object that allows recolours, which they can do anytime. I think there's also a post somewhere here on the forum with a list of creators who allow their meshes to be recoloured? (Maybe an outdated post, though, something that could be improved if there was a specific section for this. :-))
But I suppose you mean in the "conditions" part; the difference here would be to make a section for meshes released with a "public domain" license (free for usage without credit, and free to be edited -- I know there's another similar license too but I forget -- Creative Commons maybe?). I think this might be a good idea, and not only for meshes. A general "public domain resources" section that could also include free textures and other resources, and perhaps links to other places online where you can find free-to-use resources (such as Textures.com). So all in all, I think you have a good idea :-D But it might have use for being narrowed down to specific licenses.

Hello. I have had great success with recolours, but a friend has asked if I can make some NEW decor or toy items. I was thinking funko pops or sh figurarts or something along those lines since they want anime characters. I just do not know how to get started. I assumed I would use the superhero toy as my base but how do I create the new mesh to go over ? HELP PLEASE You'll want to look at the "object meshing and mapping tutorials" section in this post: sims4studio.com/thread/645/index-custom-content-tutorials-build And search on Google or YouTube for general Blender modelling tutorials, especially ones focusing on game assets and low-poly work (as opposed to realistic renders) since that's what's most relevant for TS4. :-)
