I see... Well in that case I'm sorry, but is not Studio's fault if you're not willing to update the game because of broken CC. You should update the CC to 1.26. And if whatever creator who did the files you want didn't update to that version you should contact them rather than us. Harmony has improved since previous versions, so it makes no sense to give an older update. If the projects you make with Studio doesn't show up if because you don't have the current update. There's no more to do.
Also, Studio added the new features presented in the new Toddler update. For example a toddler tag. If you don't have the patch, is reasonable Studio won't work correctly. Just update the game. If you're not willing to do that, there's no other way we can help you.

Hi! There are not older versions of Studio availabe here. Studio works for anyone that owns the Base game. You don't need the Vampire expansion, and toddlers are free in the update EA gave us. If you're using an older version of the game, please update.
Also, you should be updating Studio in less than a year. The program keeps adding new features everytime and once EA makes a big patch update will be needed.

The game is in version 1.26.96.1010 right now. Andrew updated the pose player to work with the Toddler patch. If you don't have that patch but you have the new pose player, I guess that could be the issue? Have you tried getting the pose player out of the mod folder to see if that is the responsable of the crash?

Hi Vlana, welcome to the forum! It's is great to meet you! It happened to me something similar about TS4. I started playing it after 1 year of release. Ofc, now I don't play but actually create. It has been more fun for me than playing the game. Anyways, It's great to hear you're having fun with Studio! Keep your awesome work going

2.78 might not work for some people using Harmony, while this issue is yet unknown, 2.76 should be working fine for most users... If that is not the case, can you try using Blender 2.70 and see if that fixes the problem?

Hi! That error is probably because EA changed something in the "tuning" of those items with a recent update. The tuning controls, basically the function of the object, among other things, but lets keep it simple. Most of this problems can be fixed with Sims 4 Studio. You can download the program and run a "Batch fix". It is in the upper part of the program. You will see and Tools menu to display. Then, you can see batch fixes and choose from there.
There are many depending on what it needs to be fixed. For example, lights and mirrors. Also to update older chair and tables to "Dine out" game pack. The program will run a batch fix that will most likely fix all the problems with those objects. It also makes a backup in case you want to restore one of your files, or you're not happy with the result. This can be found in the path "Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Batchfixes".
If there are other items that you think that might need a batch fix, please give more information about it. We can make a suggestion to add it to Studio. You mention fireplaces. Can you provide a .package example of one of those that are not working? This way the issue can be investigated.

Post the .package and the .blend file. Otherwise is not easy to know what that problem could be.

gnerdsimmer You can pretty much convert anything to an accesory. You will only need to modify the uv map to show in that correct area and ajust the weights. In some cases also make a uv_1. But if you give more details of what you're trying to achieve we can help you better.

I have no idea if this could be the issue. But there is a batch fix for older pose packs to work with some of the new functions that the poseplayer has. You can run the batchfix in Studio by pressing "Ctrl+Shift+C", this will pop up the cheat console, and you must type this "posepacks.update" then hit enter.
If this doesn't work, can you provide the .packages that are not showing up so it can be investigated?

Renorasims The only weights that will get red are the ones that take place in the part of the body your mesh is. For example, there many EA items that have random weights that have nothing to do with that area. Like b_pelvis, this should not show anything in your shoes, since the pelvis has nothing to do with the shoes. Don't worry about them. About the only transfering one joint, that is because it has changed in Blender 2.78. You now need to play with the settings a bit. I already answered this in a Creators Help thread. I will quote it here anyways. Also, the meshes must be into each other as far as I know for it to weight properly. As shown in the tutorial. Try to overlap them as much as possible. Mmm not really... You can do this, I just found it. In the left open the transfer settings and set "Destination Layers Matching" to "All layers" and "Source Layers Selections" to "By Name"

The method g1g2 is the easy way and most of the time the most reasonable. But If you don't feel like cloning again, I will just add that the hat functionality is given in the region map. You can edit the region type and change "Hat B" or whatever hat it is to "Base". Also the "Layer" to 0. This way it will remove the chop hairs.

jmacsims You can use the "My CC" button in Studio. If your merged .package is in your mods folder it will be displayed there. You can remove other .packages into the merged one. All .packages on it should be displayed in a list when you click on the main one.

That's probably the unknown bug between Harmony and Blender 2.78. If you're using 2.78 please uninstall it. Studio now supports 2.76 that has all needed and it will most likely work for you. This bug is not showing up in everyone but If you experience this it's likely it's this bug.
