Hi everybody. I specifically need this to be in the necklace section, but I don't know how to make it so that it doesn't cut into the breasts. I tried weight painting it different ways but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Any ideas? blendpackage

Will we be able to export pet accessories and clothes in s4studios to make cc with soon?

I want to start making makeup, however, certain skin overlays hide my blushes or eyeshadows. I've tried making the makeup as opaque as possible but they are still hidden under certain skin overlays. Is there a way for my makeup to appear over the skin overlays?

Hello all! So I've been trying to create accessories. I'm not sure if I did it correctly because there seems to be a glare on my necklace even though I don't have a specular map or emission. Could someone kindly take a look? Thanks! BlendPackage
Also if you see something else wrong, please let me know. I need as much feedback as I can because this is my first time creating an accessory.

In your opinion, what would be an appropriate polycount for a dress? (Specifically a wedding dress.) I'm just curious so that people who have lower power computers will be able to use my cc.

Where would I find rigs for children and toddlers to use in blender? I know how to export the nude tops and bottoms for adults from S4Studios but I can't find any for toddlers and children. :( Also could someone link me to the how to do a uv_1 tutorial? I can't seem to find it, thank you.

Feyona Thank you, I will give it a try. Hopefully it works. inabadromance I think you're right, I've been importing and exporting the mesh from S4S to work on and that is probably what caused the breaking and seams because it was not like that in the original mesh. I'll try to start over if what Feyona says does not work. Thank you.

Feyona Oh yes, sorry about that. Please export the mesh or texture from this package file. simfileshare.net/download/291822/I'm not sure which could be affecting it. Thank you so much, I appreciate your help. :D

Sorry if this is an inappropriate question to ask here but I just needed help fixing these weird seams on my mesh. it's really annoying and noticeable. I'd like it to be smooth. imgur.com/Mc80DtH

Is clipping inevitable? Is there a way to have a perfect mesh without clipping? I do my best to hand paint the mesh, fix vertices, etc. but if my sim happens to extend their arm too far it, clipping will occur. There's no clipping when my sim is cooking, moving, doing normal sim stuff but as soon as I use poses, it does. My guess is because some poses are an unnatural way for sims to move so clipping will happen. What are some of your opinions on this? I feel so insecure about it, I would like to know how you guys feel.

inabadromance Whoa! Thanks for replying so quickly. Very interesting, thank you for the details. I have one more question about the specular map since you recommended it. I looked through a few tutorials here, mainly the one by UntraditionalNerd, and it seems their items came with specular maps already because it was a mesh from EA. If I am using my own mesh that I've created, where does the map come from? I saw an option to bake it in Blender but I'm not sure if that is correct.
