Don't really have the time to check the file but this is a UV_1/vertex paint issue not weight.

Indeed I fcked up my link xD I edited it. So the correctly edited link this time is the highest quality version of the Pattern that was found.
But I am not sure what you mean by editable file here.

Hi lasusina, it's called a UV Template, you can find it in the bottom links of the full index studio tutorials. But here you go

I would recommend installing blender 2.70 (link available in the Studio download post)then as it still remains the version with which Studio has been developed and is the less susceptible to create errors. Install 2.70 and set the path in S4S to this version of Blender. If nothing works, delete all your blender version and S4S, install blender 2.70, then S4S . Test how it works. If it's all good, install your 2.79 if you need it, work there and save the final files back from 2.70 so that you are able to re-import them into studio. There is always a risk for failure when working here and there with versions of blender that are not compatible with Studio. If you try to import a file that was saved in 2.79 it will not work.

If some CC doesn't appear in the S4S preview and the game, it means you didn't download the mesh but only a recolor. Look for where you downloaded the CC (by googling its name) and check the author's post. You will find a link to the creator's mesh.

No it is not. It makes no sense, you uninstall S4S the same way you uninstall any other program.

If you get a message stating stuff about access denied, it means you need to start S4S with admin rights.
Otherwise we need the log files from S4S to be able to help. You can find them in : my documents/sims4studio/

Did you maybe setup the path to blender 2.79 instead of 2.76 in the Studio preferences ?

Hi SimmerKate Seems your weights are too weak on the pelvis area. You assigned most weight f the flare dress part to the spine_0 instead of the pelvis. The in game result is as per your screenshot. I would redo a clean transfer by following this tutorial Also I would advise to only double the part of your sim where you want to have the inner part visible, and not the whole sim. (here only the skirt part would need to be "doubled") Also the cut number division of your mesh is wrong. Check a base game body outfit (like a swimsuit in this case) to see how the groups should be handled.

So, I tested it out of curiosity on my mac at work. I don't have the cats and dogs expansions installed here. As a result if I export an animal rig for animations/poses purposes I only end up in my blender file with an empty rig and no associated objects (forming the animal itself). Which makes perfect sense.
Might sound like a stupid question but : is your game updated to Cats and dogs expansion pack ?

Start s4s with admin rights. That should solve it.

Hi sinfulsimmingThe weight transfer worked but it is far from clean. Part of the left leg weights are weighted on the other leg and vice versa. Shouldn't not happen. I would recommend you to delete all the vertex groups and redo a weight transfer from a clean base reference mesh for starters and see from there.

Hi chandravia Sorry for the delay answering your post, kinda got hidden in the mass and forgotten. You created a small group of vertices at the hips area (named group). Probably for selection purposes and you forgot to delete it. Simply delete the group and you should be fine (might have to retransfer the weights from the pelvis)
