So I need to copy the full 1 piece "multiedit" mesh so there's 4 of them, and then go to each one and basically try to make it match the originals by selecting and deleting vertices until it matches...? Basically? Is that right?

They look fine in Blender, but in-game they do this: I only modified the mesh by transforming and I didn't even touch the part that attaches to the waist so I'm not sure what's wrong. looks fine in Sims4Studio too! www.mediafire.com/file/09483wdt8mgggg0/gothpants.blend/fileHere's the blender file. Edit: I used an addon called MultiEdit to be able to edit all 4 object parts at once. I think this duplicated them as a single object that thus isn't rigged properly, or something...is that salvageable? :(

It works! I can now see all versions in all categories. I ended up using the face details section for a couple things which s working okay.
I do have one problem- I put the antler pieces in the Forehead Detail section since I don't ever use that for anything. It works fine, but they take on the texture from any head accessories categorized as earrings. The texture space listed in the warehouse is the forehead detail. Not sure how this part works- is this a problem because of the texture space I chose, or because the forehead just automatically has this problem, or what?
Either way I'm really glad I did this, I didn't realize it but putting these things as body details means they AUTOMATICALLY APPLY TO EVERY OUTFIT which is a huge, huge deal, it means I can no longer accidentally screw up makeup or lose details when adding outfits, I no longer have to modify every outfit meticulously, career outfits work, nudity works, wow!

Ok, turns out, occult eyelid is Vampire Eye Details, which is distinct from Eye Scars. Occult eye socket is also vampire eye details. Sims4Studio apparently does not support eye scars, which is lame, because it supports the other ones. So that's one slot I can't use.
And cloning doesn't clone thumbnails, and as far as I can find there's no option to force it to do so, so I have to do a bunch of extra steps to get those back.
But this seems like it'll work otherwise, will let you guys know if it does.

Can I just open the scar-section copies like this and save them as a new file and that's it, or do I have to actually clone the originals, recategorize them again, etc? In other words, will this give them a new instance even if I don't actually do anything?
They're not actually occult categories, that's just what the scar categories are called, I thought?
If the eye scars are not "occult eye" then where are they?

I'm still not clear on what "put them in the studio/mods" folder means or what it is supposed to do, though. How do I properly clone these objects or alter their IDs so they're distinct?

I already did, in the OP...

What do you mean by "putting it in the studio/mods folder"?
That wouldn't account for why they don't work standalone, as well. I won't know until I try your suggested fix but the antlers for example didn't ever show up in the eye scar section, even if the originals were removed. I guess it's possible I have the originals in a merged package hiding somewhere too, though!

I used the batch remove option to get rid of all catalog thumbnails for objects. They drive me nuts, they draw too much focus from other objects, and they make me wary of using them "just in case I upload this somewhere" which I don't like doing because it limits my options (I also remove theCC icon for that same reason, and so the thumbnails are annoying because they make it very clear content is CC).
But I have a TON of Peacemaker items- they make a lot of nice mid-century stuff that I'm obsessed with- and none of the icons remove when doing the batch fix on them, even if it tells me that it fixed the files. How do I remove them from batch packages?
I tried opening the packages and just deleting every "Catalog Thumbnail" entry, but literally nothing happens when I do that. It doesn't actually delete anything.

I have a full suite of CC items required to make my main sims function properly. -Antlers (2 sets) -Skin Overlay -Additional Skin Overlay -Mouth Overlay -Custom Tail In an attempt to organize my CC, I opened all of these in Sims4Studio, and I: -Gave them all custom thumbnails -Categorized/tagged them properly -Renamed each one in the "Name" Field under "CASPart" for each swatch But, in an attempt to make them all easier to find and usable alongside other CC, I also: -Moved both Antler sets into OccultEyeLid (Eye Scars) -Moved the Skin Overlay into OccultBrow (Eyebrow Scars) -Moved the Additional Overlay into OccultLeftCheek (Left Cheek Scar) -Moved the Mouth Overlay into OccultMouth (Mouth Scar) -Moved the Tail into OccultRightCheek (Right Cheek Scar) While keeping the original versions, to allow mixing/matching. But now...only some of these work, only some of the time. If I have the Makeup version of the Mouth Overlay and the Mouth Scar version of the Mouth Overlay in my mods folder at the same time, only one shows up. The antlers NEVER show up. The Skin Overlay and Additional Overlay work fine if they are not alongside their Tattoo versions. The tail works fine. Even if I remove everything BUT the ones I moved into scars, they don't all load. If I remove ONLY the ones I moved into scars, they ALL SHOW UP JUST FINE. If I load up my sims who ALREADY WEAR these items, they work just fine and look normal, no matter which pieces are or are not showing up! TLDR: My CC moved into the Scars section hides the original non-scar versions. Some items refuse to work as scars at all. Here's a zip file with both sets. If both folders are in the mods folder everything goes nuts. If only the Not Scars folder is in the mods folder you should be able to find two tattoos (fur skin and spots overlay), two body accessories (antlers + tail), one makeup (mouth overlay), and one hat (antlers). www.mediafire.com/file/494trrma14n45pz/ConflictingCC.7z/fileWhat on earth am I doing wrong?! @_@

My sim uses, for example, a face overlay, skin overlay found in the tattoo section, custom tail accessory found in body accessories, custom earring found in head accessories, custom ears found in head accessorites, horns found in head accessories, etc.
Is there a quick and easy way to combine these all into one accessory? So I don't have to use a bunch of slots to pick and choose them at once?
At the very least, since the head accessories have to attach to the head, can I combine those and combine everything else separate?
Or is that not possible since each has its own UV map and its own textures...I'm sure it's possible if I open all the models in one model file and save it like that, but then I have to UV map them again...which sounds hard.

I can't take a picture of it, because there's nothing to take a picture of. I add custom swatches, I go in-game, they are not there.

That's not the same issue. That issue is that clicking on swatches doesn't change anything. My swatches do not show up at all.
I didn't understand half of what you said otherwise, honestly. Are you saying tagging for random might fix it? Hair is tagged for random by default.
