@brittpinkiesims Hey there! glad to see you around :D. I imagine once it's implemented it'll be in the update notes on the S4S jackpot thread. Keep an eye out there ^^

j That's actually exactly what I did to flatten the spheres, I'm not really sure what's happened wrong this time. Thank you so much for the detailed tutorial! I'll give it a try and see if I can great a nice button that way instead. Also, my bad! I thought I removed those (they were from the original item I tried to merge this set into).

j Thank you so much for all of your help so far! I tried separating the mesh pieces again (I have the original un-joined mesh still) but they are still solid. I change the phong to alpha phong. However in game I'm still seeing solid shelves.Actually, thank you twice. I missed one of the sub thingies and after setting it to phone alpha the shelves are pretty and clear. I've uploaded my current package. drive.google.com/file/d/0B9K8niVz-lDBdXJTMHpYcVFyWUk/view?usp=sharingAs to the texture size, I do plan to add detail to it once everything is working right. I use solid block colors to test different things, and add detail later.

Would it be possible to add an option post package creation to change the type of package? For example (I've done this more than once <_<), after editing/doing a lot of work for a package file that I intended to be a "3D mesh" package winds up being set to an override package. I realize it's a totally silly request, but thought it might be worth asking.

j Just the shelves would be fine honestly. I don't really care if the little cabinet part is transparent or not. And my bad! I put the drop shadow back to a drop shadow. I don't see shaders to adjust on phong or phong alpha though.

This tutorial was so easy and simple to use! I just wanted to give my thanks for the fact it helped me edit a shelf into a super retail shelf!

Sorry to be back again so quickly, but I seem to have broken the transparency of the shelf project I mentioned in my last thread. (package: drive.google.com/file/d/0B9K8niVz-lDBdjFqV0hTSjNMTEk/view?usp=sharing)When I first started working on it earlier in the day after successfully fixing the retail purchase issue, the transparency of the shelf worked. Since then I added a bunch of slots and did some recolors, but I didn't think I'd edited the mesh at all since then. I tried changing the shader to the glass object shader but that didn't work and I'm not familiar enough with the depths of the warehouse to know where else to look. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'd just like to post an update to this that I think I've resolved this well enough for now. I went into the mesh and merged two pieces together so there were fewer mesh pieces, this allowed me to import it over the EA retail shelf and the shelf now functions. THe only thing left to do is edit slots, which I'm ready a tutorial for now.

@misters I do have a few, but I feel I should clarify the problem only extends to this particular shelf, all other EA retail shelves work. I am just trying to get this particular shelf to work and that's why I posted the link with the p[package, as I believe it to be an issue with the shelf its self. However, I will pull my script mods when I get home. I'll correct my opening post a bit.
Update: I pulled all script mods from my game and the issue persists.

I've been at this for a few hours and have just frankly run out of ideas on how to fix it myself. I am trying to use the NynaeveDesign dAnconia Shelves on my retail lot as shelves. They're big with a lot of shelf space and a lot of slots for large containers (I am setting up an herbalism shop and need a lot of space for bug jars). However, when I put the shelves in my game originally (this problem still persists) when ever sims tried to buy a bug jar or something off of this shelf, they'd just reset (they can purchase the bugs just fine from EA retail shelves). At first I thought it might have been that the bugs were pulled from debug, so I sent one of my sims to go out and catch a bunch of bugs. They problem still persisted with these captured bug, and upon further testing (Just sitting the container on the floor) sims could purchase them just fine. Second thought was it might be that I left bb.moveobjects on when I was setting up the shelves, I made sure it was turned off and tried setting up a new shelf following the right movement restrictions. Problem still persisted. Next, I realized the shelf was technically a book case, so I exported and then imported the object tuning for the larger mucho mondo retail shelves since they seemed the most similar. The problem persisted and I broke the textures. I then re-downloaded the shelves and selectively copied over information from the mucho mondo shelves, and left the material variant area alone (This preserved the textures), but the reset issue still persisted. Then I tried to copy over the rig, slot, and footprint files to a package for the mucho mondo, and then import the shelf mesh, the mesh will not import because of a transofrmbone difference. I checked the tab for rig/slot and they seem to match so I'm guessing this is something inside of the mesh? I am sorry this has wound up being so long, I just wanted to cover everything I've already tried to fix the problem and I am hoping someone else can help me figure out how to use this wonderful shelf in my retail store. This is the most up to date version of my package file: drive.google.com/file/d/0B9K8niVz-lDBcVgtM1M3d3ptUHc/view?usp=sharing

Hello, this isn't really a bug, more of just a weird way build mode works. If the room is assembled rather than a full square room (Or at least it happens most to me with this), sometimes it will count that wall as a room. Do the room fill to get the bulk of your build done and then use the single panel wall color option and just drag it to fix the rest of the wall. It's not too big of an issue and it's nothing really to worry about. It's just a bit annoying.
