the IMPORT button, to add the new swatch doesn't appear on the appletini (1.1.0.2), is there a solution for this ?

6-"Create your recolor image as usual" how do you do this? I am using v.3.0.1.4(harmony) everytime I click export or import nothing happens!! Theres no tutorials anywhere for the harmony version....I'M SAD!

How do I recolour the item? It says recolour as usual, but this is the first time I've created a recolour.

I feel like this question has been asked a hundred times, but I still can't figure it out...
I'm trying to recolor custom content. I've put the package files in the mods folder for studio, but in program when I select custom content, nothing shows up. I think I'm going crazy ah!! Any suggestions?? I've also tried searching by the creator but no luck:(

Hello. I am new at making cc. I have a hair I am trying to change its texture to maxis match. I am only using it for personal use. I like the cray like better then the sims3 hair textures in the sims4. I used the tutorial on the tread. I replaced the hair texture with a sims4 texture of a hair that is similar. it shows in the (harmony)s4studio but when I open it in the create a sim. it is the weird sim face with question marks. the last step of your tutorial to copy to cc is not showing in my s4 studio. is it not needed..? (its the modding step) Thank you for your help.
I used GIMP as my photo edit program.

Harmony, by default, only includes resources in the package if you edit them. If you did not make changes to the mesh, the mesh will not automatically be included. There is a tutorial HERE that shows how to ensure that all necessary resources for a complete standalone item are included. |

Hey there! I'm apparently unable to load any custom content on Sims 4 Studio, I added the package on the Mods folder but it isn't showing... I don't have the 'CC only' option either

Hi epheri, which version of Studio are you using? Also, are you placing the CC.package into your Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Mods folder? It is not enough to put it into your Sims 4/Mods folder because Studio does not look in that folder when assembling the thumbnail list.

Hello! I have been doing a lot of recoloring of CC lately, and I've been having trouble with a few items. I'm not sure if the issue is me, or the CC but I wanted to ask. Here is one i recolored with no issues:  Now here are two that i recolored and they have weird gray stripes showing up?   All of the original meshes are in my mods folder and are showing up fine, and nothing seems to be wrong with the texture files. I have used the same method for recoloring the other hairs so I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm using version 3.0.1.5 (Harmony) and I edit my textures in photoshop and save them in .png format. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Hi mrsuniiverse, I think it's possible that there may be other images that get composited with the gray-stripe hairs that are causing the gray stripe. Another possibility is that something is going wrong with the alpha channel. If you send me the original package that you recolored and your recolor for one of the gray-stripe hairs, I can take a look at it.
