Hi simcclover1992, you have the wrong mesh group selected. The one indicated with the white box is the one you have selected and this is EA's shadow plane mesh. The one you want to select is the one indicated by the green box which is your painting mesh.  Switch back to object mode and click on your mesh to select it. Then switch back to edit mode and mark your seams.  |

Update: I did everything again. I marked the seams by pressing b and enclosing the box's borders while viewing it at the front. I selected the seams and marked the seams at once. This time the side faces of the box are attached to the box face, so I can't pick them apart. Can I mark the seams one by one? Should I include the edges at the back of the box? or just the front edges and the corner edges?  There's no face on mine. What should I do?  |

I'm not sure what you mean when you say there is no face on yours...could you explain that a little? Also, if you post your .package someone can take a look |

Hi everyone, First of all, thank you so much for this tutorial! Second, I have a question. I am completeley new to Blender and I tried to make this tutorial but with a nightstand instead of painting. My problem is that I can not see my mesh in the studio. It only shows the one I used as reference, although I importet my mesh nothing changed. Why? Did I save it wrong? Can you help me please? Thank you again for being great! Edit: Ok, I found out why it did not import my mesh, I forgot to add cuts. I now did that but my mesh is... let's say it gets shown wrong. There is always a side missing. Also the texture is not showing right. What did I do now? ![]() (I would love to show you a picture but honestly I don't know how) Last Edit: I got it! For every other beginner who has problems like me, I found out that I did not mark the under side of the legs therefore the texture was open and appeared strange. Now, everything fits well. Thank you again for this great tutorial and for putting up with all our questions! |

I have had great fun following your tutorial, so helpful and clear, thank you. However, I have got stuck on no.67 just after positioning the face of the cube. I grab the vertical rectangle and move it around in the box but it is not showing. The square face showed movement but not the rectangle. Don't know if this is a glitch with Blender or just me being daft and missing something! Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hey could I get some help? I'm making a drawer and I went into the second window to make it from new cube mesh. I can't get it to unwrap even after I seamed it to EA's shadow mesh.

Thank you for a very good tutorial.
I try to follow your tutorial step by step and do exactly as in the tutorial and things work fine until I get to step 104, exporting the UV layout. When I try to do that Blender gets stuck in a never ending loop during the export process. If I shut down Blender to end the the export process it results in a PNG-file that is empty (0 kB) and can't be opened by an image editor.
I use the present Mac-version of the Studio (downloaded in late November 2017) and Blender 2.78 c, downloaded from your link. Do you have any idea what is causing this?

Point 56. Hi, can you help me please? I have repeated the steps leading up to point 56 about 10 times now. At point 56, pressing 'unwrap' doesn't do anything. The only thing that happens is that I get some options  and that's it. 1, I don't know what to do with the options, and even if I accept those settings, there is no apply button or anything. This is all that happens for me at this point. Thank you |
