The size of the image has to be a power of 2. You can't use random dimensions. Right, I always use size 1000x500 but even then it's not working. It is an incorrect size. Power of 2 numbers. The easiest way to check what kind of texture you need is by extracting it from the game and sticking to the same dimensions.

I would suggest checking for any Windows updates and restarting the computer after updating. If it doesn't help then try to reinstall drivers and don't forget to restart the computer again.

You imported some file into emission map. I checked your file. Try blanking it by pressing the "make blank" button. If it doesn't work then clone a new file and import your meshes and textures.

That worked! Thank you! What a shame there are not many tutorials out there There are too many tutorials, actually. But the only ones that I recommend are on S4S forum. I am talking about all technical stuff like vertex painting, creating a proper uv_1. If you look on youtube there are too many people who create an improperly made content because they've learned creating from similar tutorials.

Hi, I am hoping you can help me, the un-merge option is greyed out. I even uninstalled and then reinstalled but no luck Does the file contain Manifest resource? It can be found on the Warehouse tab. If the file doesn't have it it means that it was merged with another program and Studio won't be able to unmerge such file.

If your pants work fine with EA's body presets then everything is right. As far as I remember different body types have different morph maps and all custom presets use the same morph map of the mesh they were modified from. I always check my content only with EA's meshes.

2. Newer versions of Blender don't work on older versions of Windows. The game still supports Windows XP, and many people still use XP, Vista and so on. Developing the program to be able to work with newer versions of blender will cut people who use older systems out. Developing the program to be able to work with all possible versions of Blender on all possible versions of Windows will take tons of time. Sims 4 no longer works on Windows XP, as Microsoft, nor Origin supports it--i.e. It will no longer run on Windows XP. This justification, therefore, no longer applies. The Old Blender GUI, BTW, is a nightmare. It's worth considering updating to reflect newer versions of Blender considering this updated information. <script src="moz-extension://a05cb3eb-394c-4457-8fd7-c102af8b3bcb/js/app.js" type="text/javascript"></script> You should have checked whether anything has changed before typing an answer in 2 years old thread. Seriously.

When you transfer weights and UVs for wide pants it is better to split the mesh that you are transferring weights from and transfer UVs and leg weights separately and then combine in one mesh.

What do you mean they do not show up on the sim? Please post a picture. It might not be related to the patch but to what textures are used on your sim while you are in HQ mode. One non-HQ item like eyes or eyebrows and you won't see your skin or other HQ content. Make sure your sim wears only HQ content. Thank you for your response. Heres a picture. I made sure to remove any underwear, eyebrows and any accessories from the sim that could be causing any issues. I also have no clue why the sim's eyes are appearing reddish? I downloaded all the HQ replacement base game textures so I have no idea whats up with that. Also something I think worth mentioning is that very few skins by other CC creators DO actually work with the HQ mod but the majority (including mine) do not work despite being HQ compatible which is strange. Something else on your sim is not in HQ. This is what the sim looks like when it has an item with non-HQ diffuse texture. Base-game skins for the sim must be in HQ as well as default eyes. Also, clothes (top and bottom) must be in HQ to0). Check your sim again until you figure out what item is it.

Hello. I recently started creating my own custom skins but I am having a few issues. So when I try to use my CC with the HQ mod, they don't show up on the sim. Everything like diffuse, shadow etc are of the correct dimentions (2048x4096, 1024x2048 for the specular.) This only happens when I enable the mod but I need my skins to be as high quality as possible so this mod is essential for me.. I'm wondering if there's some step I'm missing or something specific that has to be done for it to work?
