I seem to have a problem viewing Wixsites through Firefox, which is my main browser. Though they work just fine in IE. I found a post that suggested that I make sure Origin isnt running in the background when I try to visit a Wixsite. And that seems to have cleared up the issue for me. I just thought I share that here in case others are having the same issue. I seriously thought that tons of websites had just vanished. lol SO glad thats not the case

Thank you guys! Ina I thought that covering the belt on the texture was enough. I have since moved it on the UV and my edit is not showing perfectly! (Never occured to me to even check the UV I thought Id dont something wrong in a layer edit somewhere) TY TY I will try the shrinking method Mathcope suggested first. Though Ive NO idea where in the world Im going to try to put it. lol

Hiya Math!Thank you for the quick reply. The wrap skirt inst part of the jumper at all. I just added the picture to show what I had expected it to look like when done, versus what I ended up with. Now Im thinking that if I append the skirt to a nude bottom that may solve my issue. lol Dunno, just taking stabs in the dark here I edited my UV, removing the top of the dress, the sleeves, the skirt cap and the belt. My hope was that I could solve belt placement problem by painting the belt on the skirt. But the outline of the original belt still shows up on the skirt, even though I removed it from the uv and edited out of the layers. Below is a picture of the edited texture. Im including my blend with this post. Wrapskirt Blender File

Je crois que tu vas devoir exporté la texture du "package file", puis l'éditer dans un logiciel de dessin (peinture), sauvegarder le dossier en .dds, puis ré-importer le dossier dans Sims4Studio, puis sauvegarder en tant que "package file.

Okay Im trying to make a sort of warp around skirt that I want to be able to use over other base clothing. Im hoping to end up with somthing like this. I extruded the interior of the skirt in order to make it visible. But the skirt adopts the the color and texture of whatever is worn with it. How do I make the skirt hold its own colors and textures? Or is this not possible?

I done goofed again. For some reason the belt of my current project is superimposing itself into the tops that I put on with my new skirt. honestly I wouldnt mind so much if not for the buckle. XD

Feyona, do you think that I could use the base game tracksuit as my base? Its seems to mimic the cuts of my mesh in a lot of ways. 4 cuts for the arms. 3 for the legs. Main body. Theres a cut in the center of chest. Could I just make a random cut in that area on my mesh using P to mimic that? Or is it more specialized?

I decided to work on something -simple- which i thought on my other mesh. Once I tested it, same problem with the distortions at distance. So I thought to apply what I was told here.
Once I click transfer weights is that it? Or do I have to paint as well? And is it okay to use a dress of similar style to transfer bones from? Or do I use the separate parts I meshed together?
Im sorry, I swear this wasn't supposed to generate any questions!

I appreciate your taking the time to explain things to me. Ive been trying to wrap my head around the concept. So this has been very helpful to me. I joined the two upper shoulder squares together to force my mesh to have 7 parts as opposed to 8. I seem to recall having found some base game meshes that have 8 cuts, but the grouping seemed so different that I didnt attempt to use them. Ill recheck and repost asap Again Thank you!

Thank you! I can now wear boots. But, that dang hole is back. And I still havent figured out why the lower pant legs are shiny. I will try to make this thing base game compatible. Hopefully I can correct this issue along the way. Just to be clear. I can use any mesh of a similar style and it has to have the same about of cut layers correct? (on my mesh I tried to merge the two upper shoulder squares, so that I could use a base with 7 parts instead of 8. Seemed like a good idea at the time XD) (quick EDIT) Are we allowed to use a mesh that has more cuts than we need and just ignore the ones we dont use?
