jared9009 have you checked the size of your textures? I was always told that if you got the question marks on something when in the game, that the texture wasn't the correct size. And sure enough each time I've seen it and checked the texture was not in the correct ratio (such as 256x256, 512x51, 1024x1024, etc.)

It's the "Dual Tinted Window" that came with GTW.

Hi All,
I'm sure this is quite simple but I can not figure out where it's located.
How do I change the color of the tinted windows to be a normal glass?
It's not the actual texture, which is what I assumed it was.
Any Help would be wonderful!
Thanks in advanced!

Hi Muffin09
Does it need to be functional? (Because that is out of my area of expertise), but I can make you a deco object. With or without sheet music?

Hi all,
Does anybody know if there's a way to force a toddler to only use one side of the bed to get into it?
I made a bed and have the short protection rails only on one side because my plan was to mirror the bed and have the opening on the other side too so that way people could place it on whichever side of the room they wanted.
I don't really want to have both sides be short because that would totally ruin the look I was going for. Any thoughts or help would be much appreciated!
TIA! - Chicklet

Thank you so much for this tutorial! It worked perfectly and created such a beautifully crisp and clean true white bake! I normally baked in Blender Render and checked "Normalized" to bake a "white" bake, except it wasn't a true white more like dingy white and had lots of noise.
I saved this tutorial to refer to until I learn this work flow.
Thanks again!

Hi All,
I was wondering if anybody knows of an object that has 2 groups but not-glass.
I know of the typewriter The scrolls I believe and the Unplant Plant
Whenever I use an object that has glass shaders for a group, I can never, ever get the PhongAlpha shader to work so I was hoping to find an object that doesn't have glass but has 2 groups. This is for a planter box and I wanted the plants in their own group.
Thanks in advance for any help!

13Pumpkin converted some of her Beach Fences to TS4. Maybe these are what you're looking for
You can find the post for these with the D/L link here:

Hi All,
I wanted to recolor some EA Toddler clothes for my game but when I open up S4S to see what item I want to recolor, not all of them are showing.
For example, for boys I only have a handful of different clothes showing up. No Base Game clothing at all.
I thought maybe it was because I never make toddlers in my game and that I needed to generate the thumbnails of the clothes in game for them to show up in S4S, so I loaded the game and went thru each category for boys and girls, including accessories and shoes.
I exited the game and started up S4S again, but sill only a handful of items show up.
Any help would be awesome!
Thanks in advance!

*** UPDATE: I got it figured out, it was not something wrong with my game or S4S. I was filtering my search in S4S by Toddler - MALE or Toddler - FEMALE gender but the majority of these clothes are unisex. Once I filtered by Toddler - ALL then everything showed up like it should.

Oh ok, thanks!
So, full color without any transparency would mean it would be strongest?
I did save it as a DDS file.

Hi All,
I just sat down and learned how to make proper bump and spec maps for my object creations rather than just using blank black ones I had downloaded.
The spec map I made works fine in the game, but I'm wondering why it isn't as transparent as EA's seem to be.
Should I be adjusting the opacity on them before importing them into the warehouse?
I normally use Paintshop Pro for my textures because that's what I'm familiar with, but for the spec map I used Photoshop so it's possible I did something wrong when saving it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
How do I find, or where do I look to see the Dirty and Burnt Instances Texture Overlays?
I have searched the site for a tutorial and I thought I read something that Brujah wrote about the dirty and burnt instances, but I can't find that post now.
I had briefly looked at what he was referring to, and I saw the line with the Dirty and Burnt Instances, but I never saw any type of texture to edit or modify.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

Love an open concept floor plan but need to define your living space? This dining room is the perfect answer! With this semi-transparent room divider, you can dine in style while still keeping an eye on the kids in the other room!
I have been battling with blender for the last few weeks and I’m finally starting to get a little better at it. I created my first room and wanted to share (because I’m darn proud of it! LOL)
Includes: Dining Table (3 swatches) Dining Chairs (2 Sets, prints and solids, 6 swatches each) Console Table (3 Swatches) 2 Plants (6 Swatches each) Leaning Paintings (6 Swatches) Glass Room Divider (3 Swatches, these are the original swatches not included in my recolors of the room divider posted earlier this week) ***NOTE: They are not perfect, so please be gentle with any criticism since I’m still a blender noobie virgin!
