Raindrops are the second half of falling particles. Falling Particles has a randomization aspect to how textures are layed out so I had to make a new item to get a more realistic rain effect. Raindrops is a set of 8 total variants of raindrops, they come in a variety of sizes and transparency.

Falling ParticlesAfter much pain staking effort over the last couple of weeks I have completed two projects I’m very happy to release. This post will cover the first one, it is called falling particles. Falling particles comes in 51 style options.
Included with the Falling particles package: x5 Falling leaves in 4 autumn colors and 1 regular green. x1 Random water droplet spray. x12 Different snowflake varieties (NOTE! Some of the snowflake details on certain variants are not visible while zoomed out, there is nothing I can do about this the details are just too small. x22 falling petal varieties with a few style variants. x11 Falling cherry blossoms and a variety of colors that match most of the colors in my cute cherry blossom tree retexture. The particles are stationary and can be layered, rotated, raised or dropped to get the effects you want for screenshots.

Yes, if you want to replace the mask with just your eye texture in main menu of S4S, you need to make a package that is an override of the item you want to replace. Select that button and find the mask. In the new package replace the texture of the mask with your eyes. Then the mask should only be your eyes.

Ok, just to clarify something. Do you want to make it so the original mask does not show up in the catalog? If this is what you want to do, try using override.

Please upload your .package so others take a look.
But the best advice I can give is to soften the edge of the mask. In my experience all masks I've used have had a visible difference to the color of the skin, as they are adding a light color that overlays the skin. I haven't seen such a distinct one though. When you made the mask, did you use a skin color or a monochrome color?

No problem!

Update: I've managed to get it to this point: But the whole plane is visible this way. Is it possible to keep the raindrops with this transparency and have the rest of the plain be invisible?

I could be wrong, but this looks like a gap. To close the gap the easiest way I've found to do it is to go into edit mode, switch view to wire frame, then move the camera inside the body so it faces the side with the issue. Use the select key to highlight the two vertices that are closest together along the seam gap and hit alt +m and merge at center. Sometimes it can be hard to select the vertices that are closest because they overlap or are inside one another, to make this easier click the box that lets you view all vertices instead of just surface ones. It looks like this: Hope this helps!

Please upload your package to a site like mediafire or google drive and then paste the link here. Did you delete the original texture when you pasted in your eyes?
Other than that I'm not really sure.

I am trying to make a rain sheet for screenshots but I can't seem to get the transparency right. I tried using the same base as another project I'm wrapping up to just get the plain its self to be transparent unless texture is applied, and depending on which texture it's using it does work for that. But the rain drops that are transparent are either showing up solid, or for my lighter ones they nearly disappear or look really bad. I have tried using other objects with different levels of transparency as a base, both EA and CC but I can't seem to get the texture to be accurately represented in game. Package: drive.google.com/file/d/0B9K8niVz-lDBTVBFODNvaW1Ud2s/view?usp=sharing (most edited to try and fix transparency)

It looks like the Sim's skin is poking through a little bit, do you have sim legs underneath the pants?

Thank you! The mesh is now imported and I have everything fixed except for one tiny thing. I wanted 100% clear edges and some of my edges are using the cloudy glass texture in game (looks fine in studio), I'm assuming this has something to do with the "GlassForObjectsTransluscent 4801/9607" thing but I don't understand anything in this tab to try and make it clear. Is there perhaps a guide to read up on these? Thank you everyone for all the help!
Edit: It might be easier to explain what I'm doing. I'm trying to make falling leaves, but the entire plane of the leaf texture is visible.
I have solved my issue by using a plant pot that didn't have any glass. Thank you everyone so much for your help!

inabadromance I tried changing the cut number of my mesh to the cut number of the first piece (My mesh is a solid piece while the plant thing has 3), and it says "Your mesh has a vertex group transformbone that is not part of the mesh you are replacing". The only thing that changes is the 1 being changed to a 0.

Hello, I am trying to use the "Minimalist unplant" as a base so my object will have transparency, and it does! Works great for that, but I still see a ghost of the minimalist unplant even though I have removed all references I can find to it. In game it shows up as a weird purpley red version of its self under my objects, and in the model viewer of S4S warehouse I can see its shape: It seems like it just never goes away after I import my mesh. How do I get rid of all traces of the original object? I also noticed that this object seems to fade if the camera is too close, is there a way to stop that from happening?
